I am sooooo bummed...I did not get any notices of new postings in this thread?!?! The song below was the only thing I heard after the squealing tires and crunching metal as I was in my first major accident at the tender age of 16 (lol). The other car was totaled and my beautiful classic candy apple red 1973 Gran Torino Sport with a 351 Cleveland and holley carbs was almost totaled. The 8 track kept playing Alice's songs until I was able to crawl out and pull the cable off one of the battery posts.

The two below are from one of, if not THE, best western films ever made (in Italy or anywhere!).

Sorry to hear of your bad day... at least you can still appreciate music after the wreck!

lol...it was just the first of many! I had a knack for racing and driving and over the next several years, a lot of vehicles gave part or all of their life to my endeavors.

The song below was playing when I wrecked the next one...a beautiful blue 1976 Triumph Spitfire that I did course racing in (the version below is more modern than the one I was listening to at the time). Yes, there was a woman that played a part in this one...:xf.smile:

Excellent suggestion! The Stones journey ended up leading to memories of a beautiful woman (we will call her 'mafia princess') I once knew...

For you Pink Floyd lovers. Someone pointed this out to me a few years ago. One of their songs was a disco hit for a short time - but not by them.

(I hope this has not been posted already. I'm too lazy to go through 124 pages to find out.)

Pink Floyd's Have a Cigar.

And the disco version - Rosebud's Have a Cigar.
Some will call it sacrilegious, but imagine what this would have sounded like in a club with a massively thumping bass/sub bass. I get it.

They are polar opposites to say the least.

This song came to mind a just after I checked the IP of an email from someone wanting to buy a name earlier. The moron "domain investor' didn't bother hiding the info...pretended to be someone else. You silly person!
