Sorry for the long post, but:

Guangunjie' (also 'Guanggunjie') in Chinese, is the world's largest shopping day, according to many sources.

See the Los Angeles Times: http://www.latimes.com/world/asia/la-fg-china-singles-day-20161109-story.html

I noted that in the LA Times story referred to above that it is spelled with 1 'g' in the middle. In non-Chinese media, I see it mostly spelled with 1 'g' in the middle.

I own guangunjie.com, .net, .cn, and 2 other extensions.

Alibaba, the Chinese online shopping platform, sells $ 1.8 billion (!) per hour (!) on the Guangunjie shopping day. And they are trying to export it (as a special shopping day) to the rest of the world.

In Chinese/English media I almost always see it spelled as 'Guanggunjie', with a double 'g' in the middle. That version in .com (using double 'g' spelling) is for sale on a Chinese domain-selling site for $ 288,000. (I don't speak Chinese, but that's what it looks like to me).

https://www.cnn.com/2018/11/10/tech/alibaba-singles-day/index.html
see: https://mi.aliyun.com/detail/online.html?domainName=guanggunjie.com

I would like to sell guangunjie.com but can't figure out the best way to do it. One obvious idea would be to get it in front of the 'right' person at Alibaba, but that's way way beyond my capability. Or, to offer it for sale on 4.cn. Or? My question regarding selling it: Where, how, and how much.

I also own guanggunjie.co, .vip, .xyz. (the version with double ‘g’ in the middle)

Thanks in advance for shedding any light.

- J

Thanks.

Hi, as a Chinese is my mother tongue I would tell you that in the Chinese language it doesn't work like that way, the Chinese English-spelling(PIN YIN) isn't flexible as English words that you could sometimes choose alternative words to make them sounds cool and brandable, most of the times(90-95%) we would definitely use the exact PINYIN to demonstrate your domain using, but we would use different Chinese word to generate a special name, so I believe the LA Times use the wrong terms that shouldn't be, but like I said it's not for the all the circumstances, one of the biggest electronic store in China they rather use GOME than original PINYIN the GuoMei that is the only exception I can find.
