The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
"Outbound Market Place" is the best end user market place you can find:xf.grin:

Set up your own marketplace, forward your domains to the landing pages. End-users will surely come - if the domains are not mediocre names.
We can help.

This domain industry seems to be filled with sellers rather than buyers.

I stand to be corrected.

You will find many resellers on every domain end-user market place. But most of the resellers have pretty much awful names for sale. So you will ALWAYS have to sort out the wheat from the chaff. IMHO, the best end-user marketplaces are the big boys, like Afternic, GoDaddy, and Sedo. So if you have good domains for sale you should go with them. Also if you have intermediate or crappy domains. Go with them.

Probably the only true end user markets are the brandable marketplaces, like BrandBucket, who only sell to end users. But by their very nature, they are selling "brandable" domain names. They don't sell dictionary word premium domains in most cases. Like for example link.com.

NameFind.com (a GoDaddy company) would be close to being an end-user marketplace.

But you seem to be wanting to interact with these buyers. I think you will only be able to interact with these buyers, if you have quality (usually dictionary) domains for sale. As part of the sales process. There is no forum where you can discuss with these buyers, about philosophy or anything else.

Make your own identity(marketplace) on Efty.com if you want direct customer interaction. Everything is in your control from custom landing pages to payment integrations. Behind the scene, inventory management & accounting software is one of the best things to lean on in efty.

You will know a lot about your domains with google analytics integration. Youll know which business or individual is interested in your name through analytics.

Most of my sales are end-user & through efty landing pages. I'm yet to list my portfolio on other marketplaces.

The foremost point is - how do you differentiate a Reseller from an End User ?

Is it the thinking that one who pays good amount without negotiation is an End user and one who bargains a lot over small offer price is a Reseller ?

I have seen this proving wrong many many times.

Most of my Crypto domains were bought by Resellers in high figures. I came to know later that they were a Reseller when they put them again on a landing page for sale the next day.

If you are talking about interacting with your customer, Dan.com landing page proves to be the best option for me, because you are interacting directly with client before the price is agreed, yet under the roof of a third party marketplace.

The end user is a website developer so different industry. The domain industry is reserved for sellers. But plenty of domainers buy names off other domainers again looking for the developer.

Hello @Vibhor one of the best end user marketplace in my opinion is DAN.com(no way affiliated with them).
But you need to have good domain names to attract end users. If you have good domain names you can be sure that end users will approach you at whatever platform you have listed your domain name. You can interact with DAN.com with counter offer or accept the offer and even set a buy now price without negotiating if you wish.DAN.com Interface is very good and also their process is very quick overall with the sales and payment release also you get this all with a very low 9% commissions only.9% commissions is also very little considering their great timely quick response and service.

Efty.com would be another alternative like DAN.com if you have good strong domain names. The positive here is that you pay no commissions to anybody here for your domain sales(instead you are charged a small monthly/yearly amount for the service).

If you do not want to interact with the buyers and want others to interact for you then Afternic.com(listing on Godaddy are done automatically as Afternic has partnered with Godaddy) and Uniregistry are good end user marketplace if you have good medium to strong domain names.

As like @stub said the important thing is to have strong quality domain names then end users will approach you directly and you can negotiate on your terms.

Spot on you are absolutely correct to the core.

Good one here @manpreet about on labeling bargaining offers as just Domain Resellers.

End users also do bargain as they need to get more value by paying the correct price and not overpaying above the value to get the most of their money. So they too do bargain and start with low offers most of the time but raise it if they want it so badly.

Unboxing.io is just one example of an awful domain. It has zero end-users, apart from you.

You should read the forums thoroughly here, such as Domain Beginners, and learn all you can before purchasing any domains. There is a treasure trove of information hidden in plain sight, here on NamePros.
