It seems .PRO is slowly coming out of the cage with cheaper reg prices than they were a year ago and major registrars like netsol taking notice of the extension and promoting it. B-)

Here are some that I picked up in last couple of days:

Alexandria.pro

Anchorage.pro

Arlington.pro

Belfast.pro

Birmingham.pro

Budapest.pro

Durham.pro

Fairfax.pro

Italian.pro

Lisbon.pro

Fire away with your regs after the relaunch on September 8th, 2008.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
So my recommendation: who has under 100 domains at Namecheap - transfer-out them all... don't wait...

p.s. $5 transfer to 1and1 still works...

namecheap is BAD registrar....
This is due to their $2.06
So as outcome - they have the largest share of .PRO regs... And the most attention from Afilias accordingly.

Just detected XSERVER (not mine) - blocked even on its own nameservers...
The same Namecheap... 2 months old.

Another bad news, at least for me, this summer is almost empty in terms of inquiries...
And probably, this "silence" is also related to the abnormal Afilias activity.

So yesterday 2 more blocked by Afilias victims for me...
1 was registered recently and parked at ParkingCrew, another domain parked at Bodis (2+ months old).
Both domains at Namecheap.
Were unblocked today.
Spent almost 5 days.

From my regular WHOIS observation, some US company regged MANY .PRO domains on GoDaddy this summer...
I have never seen it before.

How this year performs for you?
For me, 2018 was definitely better in terms of demand and sales... At least comparing Jan-Aug period.

I still don't understand: why to keep the domains at default Namecheap nameservers, where they show their parking template.
What chances to sell in this mode??? ~0.00 in my opinion.

Too many newbies... unfortunately.

I am not going to renew any .pro domains, not seeing much real views on the ones I have and no new inquiries for a couple months.

Yes, I also noticed the significant decrease of inquiries since May...
Afilias operates in 2 modes this year: traditional lack of marketing + mass serverHold blocking.

But regarding traffic volume - I can't say the same...
It is trending up...

I have 800+ .PROs as of today.

I am not going to renew any .pro domains
This is not a problem...
Domainers from this thread + few Chineses are always ready to catch... like it happens daily.

I get more .pro views on Sedo than on the actual landers (barely any on the landers tho), never had that happen with any other extension. wondering if most .pro buyers are there

I have 800+ .PROs as of today.

Notice any trends in view/offer data with these, tech/geo/profession generating more views or lowball offers?

Various inquiries...
From lowball and up to $5K...
Was even $10K US-inquiry on my Analytics...

Regarding Sedo...
Very weak botfiltering there.

Regarding Geos...
It is hard to sell them regardless of TLD, except .com and domestic ccTLDs.

To see your actual human traffic use ParkingCrew... or Bodis.

p.s. I use Sedo only for some BIN-domains.

Great, when mine drop you can have them. :-P
What is your volume?

Average conversion ratio in .PRO was 1 inquiry per 20-30 domains in the previous years...
In 2019 - 1 inquiry per 40-50 domains. Thanks to Afilias.

Who has WAND - serverHold on it...
As I see - it was transferred to 1and1... but transfer has no any impact on the blocked status at Registry level...
