Hi,

I've identified a premium domain I want to buy. It's listed through GoDaddy & Namecheap & Sedo, and probably more?!

While I've bought many domains in the past, I've no experience buying Premium domains. I've seen the price on this domain increase $300 recently.

Is there typically any flexibility in a Premium Domain price?

Does just clicking 'Buy' on the above registrars lead to an immediate purchase? I'm concerned it could initiate a process where I become a sales lead and there's back and forth between the seller (which would be a drawn out process).

Please advise any tips about buying a Premium Domain, where or how to buy etc.

Thank you

Is it a registry premium ?
If the name is listed as Buy now, there shouldn't be any back and forth.
You'll be able to pay directly

Hi Gube, I'm guessing it's registry but I don't know, how do I tell?
Is there a good website for checking if the domain has been active previously?
Thanks

If it's a .com, then no, It's not a registry premium.
If it's something else, check the whois, It should tell you if the domain is active or reserved by the registry, or premium, etc
