The founder of Bitcoin is reported to be coming out of hiding on the anniversary of Bitcoin.org (8-18). Currently, the founder of Bitcoin remains anonymous and is shrouded in mystery. If this reveal is true, one could say it is a "bit" deal.:xf.smile:

Per the press release:

"Nakamoto also will disclose why he chose the date August 18 not only to register bitcoin.org in 2008, but also to release Part I of “My Reveal” this coming Sunday on the 11th anniversary of his registration of bitcoin.org through AnonymousSpeech.com."

Interestingly the release mentioned (for the speculative domainers):xf.smile::

"Nakamoto’s revelations will culminate Tuesday in Part III with his introduction of Tabula Rasa, his clean-slate vision for Bitcoin’s transformational rebirth, and the declaration of his identity."

What happened to hashgraph, people say it is a much better (at least faster) technology, but there is no power/promotion/advertisingmoney there.
Guess, patented vs non-patented.. in turn, profits for one vs profits for all. Unless patent holder sells..

@jmcc funny he mention's in the article he changed his writing style..as to your point.

So, looks like after losing 900k+ in BTC, one would go on a downward spiral into the abyss.. makes a bit of sense. I mean, I've been in a semi-permanent state of depression from that one time I dropped $20 bucks at the coin slots..
Writing style is a thing that evolves over time. It is very difficult to lose it or even hide it. The paragraph indentations are missing too. The use of language is imprecise compared to the original posts.

The one thing that drives cryppies is the idea rather than money. And don't ever risk calling a cryptographer a Numerologist. :)

Regards...jmcc

This guy is a fraud. I think anyone who entertains this clown just disrespects the real Satoshi..... Hal Finney

If the article is true I might be very depressed as he does, you lost 980000btc and then got betrayed by Gavin Andresen as he said, it's kind of similar to Steve Jobs that have kicked out by his own company, you probably will run away from it.

This alone made me question the legitimacy of the entire document, as well as other technical issues with this understanding of wallet file recovery. No libertarian leaning individual would ever be happy or pretend to "serve people" while working for the NHS.

Another huge red flag was his ability to ignore bitcoin, knowing the mining difficult was so low he could have easily mined another million coins with a similar computer.

#fauxtoshi is his name!
