Epik has been incubating an alternative to EventBrite at the request of an Epik client who was booted by EventBrite and for which they found EventBrite's 10% commissions to be too high as well as wanted the ability to accept crypto as payment method. We are now finalizing the brand name and would like to invite some domain industry input on name selection.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I too, voted for FullVenue.com as I think that one is head and shoulders above the rest. I have FishTicket.com available if you're still considering other names. FishTicket.com "Catch a Great Show" or "Catch a Great Seat"

In response to this, if you're still open to additional names, I'd propose the following which is mine and think would be fitting & clear in this case..

I like it...it is a great name...maybe Rob will keep the contest running. (yes, I just woke up from my 'old man' nap)!

Maybe a second round on this one?

I like FullVenue.com the best out of the lot.

Of course, I like the related domain I own more ;)

A client got booted from EventBrite, so you will build an alternative service as an Epik offering? You're on fire with launching new platforms.

Well, it was actually multiple clients -- when I heard it for the nth time I concluded that there might be a gap in the market.

Meanwhile, the first version is actually on staging and pretty near operational with a full featured event management suite. We need to finalize the brand and the payment gateways, and then integrate crypto payments. However, from my initial testing today, I would say that the guts are all there and it looks promising.

Armored.net, Us.Tv, and even Gab.com are all examples of open source codebases adapted to a requirement.

Other people can do this too with capable engineering talent. It is often a function of marrying a market need to some open source starting codebase that was a commercial project that did not reach financial maturity. The advantage for Epik is that we have some operational efficiency vis-a-vis hosting and development talent.

The other advantage, not to be underestimated, is that there are now tens of millions of people who have, at some point along the way, been disappointed by the providers of mainstream tech and are looking for trusted non Silicon Valley solutions. The act of standing on principle did not go unnoticed by some of these folks.

I believe the future of the Internet is going to be Federated, Decentralized and anti-Fragile. I believe Domain investors can benefit from this trend. Big corporations have the money but were rarely the big ticket buyers. Consider Voice.com -- that is a Blockchain upstart funded by some EOS mad-money.

Had it been "Eventized" is "eventize", it would have been the better of the lot. None is the best.
Nothing I like...
But
Eventized is my choice..

I already have a horse in this race but after reading everything I have another candidate.

PeerBooked.com

I think it hits exactly what Rob's client wants.

I can help you by process of elimination:

Eventized - how do you say that? Event-ized or Even-tized? Eventize would be better.
Yes, it would but unfortunately it wasn't available.

Just in case anyone missed this...

Eventized is a dictionary word.

Eventized: simple past tense and past participle of eventize.

Eventize: (transitive) To turn into an event or spectacle.
event + -ize Verb
eventize (third-person singular simple present eventizes, present participle eventizing, simple past and past participle eventized)

Depending how serious this venture actually is, I would probably look for something better than any of the choices listed.

Of the ones listed, FullVenue.com is the only one I would consider.

I voted for Tictronic that felt modern to me although after reading @Ategy.com excellent post the case for FullVenue is very strong. I also like EventBlitz quite a bit as it too feels positive and energetic.

Several rubbed me the wrong way including EventsAngel, EventZee and EventCasa.

Thanks for giving us the opportunity to express opinions @Rob Monster. Best wishes for your venture.

Bob
Tictronic seems to have been a closed UK company.

Cast my vote, personally FullVenue is the name that popped out. I think it also has the most potential resale value once you're done with the thing.

Good luck with your choice.

We went with FullVenue.com. We have our winner.

The terms were agreed this morning with the seller. The purchase price was $8,500, comprised of $5000 in cash and $3500 in Epik account credit to the seller. The seller was already in the process of moving to Epik but will now move fully.

Thanks to all for the great input on this difficult search!

Congrats to xxx...it was my third choice, but to me the top three names (on my favorites list) were equally good.

Well, I did get @Ategy to provide his permission to disclose the details. I did not name him in my post but apparently others connected those dots.
