I received this message, what should I do now, any help will be appreciated, thanks.

My name is NAME HIDDEN. I work as a broker for TopLine (Saudi Arabia).

I act on the behalf of our VIP client (domain investor) and will help you to sell your domain. The buyer purchases several domains to generate traffic to his new web project. If you need faster response please contact me in Telegram messenger.

Please send me your Telegram messenger user name. My user name in Telegram: USER_HIDDEN.

My commission is only 6 %. The commission is divided between you (3%) and the buyer (3%) and paid after you get the money.

The buyer offers $45000 USD in Litecoins/Ethereum or $43000 USD to your bank account/Paypal. How do you prefer to get paid: bank transfer/Paypal/paper check or crypto currency (Bitcoin/Ethereum)?

The payment to you will be made via escrow service to protect both parties during the transaction. You will get 50% before the domain transfer and 50% after.

To proceed with the sale, the buyer requires a verification of compliance with Saudi Arabia law and trademarks because he will run his startup in Saudi Arabia. Please don't worry. If you don't have it you can order it online. I will help you with instructions and will not leave you along with this.

According to his country law the domain holder may lose domain if it has trademark conflicts or other legal restrictions. He is a professional investor and cannot afford to lose the money and domain and will send you the funds only after you send him a verification from an independent agency that make legal verification in Saudi Arabia. I hope you understand it.

The verification must include the following:

- The certification agency must be certified to verify domains in Saudi Arabia.
- Verification of compliance with Saudi Arabia law and trademarks.
- The certificate must be up to date (issued during last 30 days).
- Official copy of the verification in English and Arabic.

We only work with certification agencies that provide full refund of the certification fee to domain owner if his domain is not sold. We take care about our clients.
No need to worry. The buyer has serious intentions. He will pay the same day you send us the certificate. The refund guarantee is only needed for you to feel more protected.

We asked him if GoDaddy or Sedo appraisal certificates will work as a verification for him. Now we are awaiting for his answer.

If you are ready to to sell to my client please let me know.

Yes, its that old appraisal scam.

Don't feel bad, I think the vast majority of us have gotten exited about an email like this before (at I have). I just let them know they are not as masked as they think and they should tread lightly in the digital world...let them know you are going to expose them on domainer blogs if they contact you again and that will usually make them 'remove' you from their scam target list.

thanks a lot, you saved my domain ❤

NamePros has actually saved you money - they never wanted your domain, they want to scam you into paying fees (while that big $43K payday rolls around in your head) for all kinds of "certifications" and "appraisals" all the while sending you to services they own and operate.

Once you get done forking out all that money, somehow they find something wrong and back out of the deal.

This scam goes way back to the Gold Rush, whereby shop owners would "salt" areas with shotgun gold flecks, thereby enticing would-be prospectors into buying supplies from their stores, like guns, shovels, pans, food, clothing, horses, etc.

Then after they've spent all that setup money, the prospectors discover there's no gold.

This is a decade old Scam for getting money from new domainers on behalf of a lucrative sale, they will get the valuation done and disappear, lol. I think I had written an article on it already, here:

https://www.godomaining.com/domain-appraisal-scam-still-exists/

Most of the people, I think 90% get into their scam, but the remaining 5% take time in reporting to NamePros here or simply searching for such email templates on Google.

The above statement confirms that it is fake and all he want you to pay some dollars to get the VC online.
Just ignore him.
