This thread is a central location to report domain name sales of any dollar amount.

As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

Please use the Like and Thank links on a post to indicate that you like it or are thankful for it being shared.

Do not post only, "great sale" or similar as this doesn't contribute to the thread. (Don't reply for the sole purpose of complimenting.)
  • Tip: Use the Like/Thanks feature instead.

Questions are allowed, but do not post commentary. If you want to discuss or comment on a sale in this thread, quote it and then post it in the following thread instead:

Domain name: Tables .top
Sale venue: Sedo, inbound
Sale date: 01.08.2019
Listing type: BIN
Listing upgrades: Sedo MLS, sold via United-Domains.de
Seller: me
Asking price = Sale price: 99 USD (reduced one day before)
Sale fee: 20% (good Sedo canceled its minimum fee)
Purchase venue: Handreg Dynadot
Purchase date: Feb 2016
Investment: This is my only sale in the nTLD .top. Starting with 99 one-word generics for 1 USD reg fee I invested ca. 633 USD incl. renewals while dropping names yearly.
So it wouldn´t be fair to just review this one domain with a 7-fold ROI. Truth is that I try to cut losses in .top until the remaining inventory will drop.

I registered only one domain during the huge .CO .99c sale at Epik and it sold! This was my first introduction to the interface at Epik and I am very pleased.

C/a/n/n/a/b/i/s/C/o/m/p/a/n/i/e/s

Registered July 1 19 for 99 cents
Listed on Epik Marketplace for $2495 BIN with Make offer (Min $500)

Received $500 offer July 17.

Countered $1888

Buyer offers $1000

We agree to $1500 and buyer says he wants it for this price, but will have to make arrangements and get back to me.

I change the lander to $1500 and offer two payments of $820 as a choice.

Buyer likes that idea and offers to pay over three monthly payments.

I agree and update the lander, buyer proceeds.

Sale completed August 1 19 for $1600
$600 first payment
$500 second payment
$500 third payment

(All through Epik interface)

Total time invested: Less than two hours

Now of course this domain can make a lot of money in this niche in a variety of ways once developed, but I was happy to sell for a net of $1456 in such a short time. I did register the .us before the sale closed so I'm not without a comparable domain.

The dialogue between the inbound buyer and I was casual, we spoke in a way of getting to know each other in a friendly matter, it wasn't all business. All was smooth.

Big thanks to @Rob Monster - I do greatly appreciate a direct bridge to every process domain related with a registrar and Rob is most certainly a direct bridge. Happy to be working with Epik.

Congrats @Compassion. That is some tidy ROI. Thanks for sharing.

I must say that there were a ton of cannabis and crypto domains that folks picked up during the .CO promo. I am expecting some great ROI success stories.

Nicely done and Happy Saturday from Chicago airport - en route back to Seattle after an excellent Rick Schwartz domain conference in Asheville.

N.o.t.i.t.a (dot)com sold at namesilo at 324.99, get 300 net fund ...this is my 2nd selling in namesilo so far...I feel it is quite convinient for me, as I moved my most name to namesilo this year, and I can easily list my name in namesilo market place...not necessary to manage it elsewhere..btw, I still feel this is a very nice name, quite fit to a socia media startup site, specially spanish ...let's see..

June sales.

V/r/i/c./o/r/g
SaleVenue: Efty (inbound).
Listing Type: Make offer
Sold:$1,500 after turning down $500 to $1,000
Purchased July 2016.The total cost of purchase less than $9 +2 renewals. $32.51.
Added Paypal fee of 3% to get me my asking price.

a/b/r/c/.o/r/g
Sale Venue: Efty Inbound
Listing Type: Make offer
Sold :$2065. Turned down the first offer of $ 500, $1500 and settled at $2065 as I included a paypal fee of 3%.
Purchased for low $$$(see namebio)

Sold another 4L for $2850 which I am not disclosing as I am looking to see if I can purchase the .com before it is sold.
Turned down usual low $500 offers and less offers. I was negotiating a low 6 figs last month on Dan and even offered low installment but buyer left but I ain't knocking on his door. He would be back and my price may have gone up. Also said no to a mid 4 figure offer on a name I purchased within 9 days. He would also be back as they need it for their betting company.

No further details. It is a pleasure to report on namepros where I have learned a lot and networking with some top humble sellers who don't usually report here but make more than 6 figures .

My second High $XXX sale.
Domain sold: UKTP.com
Sold price: $850
Venue: DOMAINX™ 2019 AUCTION
Purchase price: $215 (from Whatsapp/Telegram Group)
Holding time: 4 months

Had it Brandpa listed but started to get the feeling that it will hardly sell there at its $3995 listed price. Since I am comparatively new to domaining, miserably failed at the outbound. (Still have to go a long shot in it).
So, decided to put in this auction event.
