Flippa sale dispute

NameSilo
Watch
Hi

Recently I won the auction but the seller had closed the account.

The domain is registered at namesilo. Should I contact namesilo for taking a legal action.

I need that domain and I have been watching for years to get that domain.

Any suggestion how to take from seller as I have done the payment and the payment is at Flippa escrow.

@flippa_marketplace @Flippa @namesilo

Thanks

Azher

Good luck there -- this is classic counterparty risk. People need to wake up to it and insist on clearing domain transactions at the registrar so they are not left holding the drippy bag. More than likely your only recourse is to get a refund from Flippa or submit a chargeback to your payment source. You should have some kind of buyer protection. However, if the domain is really important and the seller is not communicating, while the domain is held by a 4th party, that is pretty much a train wreck. Sorry.
