What domains do you have related to the new currency called Libra?

badmouthing a niche but secretly regging tons of them on the side.
That’s funny. “Seasoned” domainers know better than to register these kinds of names. I don’t own 1 libra related domain and would never.

Good luck!

It is great having Top Members in this forum who try to lead the way and consult. Especially Newbies make a lot of mistakes regarding TMs. Most of us here may remember.

But domainers should not act as kinda cheer leaders for Big Tech and Big Money IMHO - please nobody feel offended. Which domainer could resist to search for Libra domains, really? Probably only a handful of either very disciplined, rightous persons (Capricorns?:xf.grin:) or guys with overwhelming portfolios of aged generic domains.

There are 1,582 Trademarks containing the term Libra. So what. And remember, Libra is an ancient generic term, too.

Just my 2 Cents.

While yall argue about if or if not its on bad/good faith... if or if not this will be profitable for some...

Received 2 further inquires (price requests), and again quoted redic prices... (imo its just 2 early to conclude if or it not Libra/LBR will be a huge keyword/term or not) and if it wont, well i guess there goes down the drain some small sales i could have had, but with some of the biggest companies behind this currency (paypal/mc/fb) its a bet im willing to take.

Let me add to that, that i got in way late, (when most good names were taken already).... so for those few ones that got in early and got the best of the best... im sure itll work out quite well..

My small bet on this. After watching both recent hearings with David Marcus, you can't be nothing but intrigued about this whole thing.

I have been getting close to 10 hits each on 3 of my libra domains. This started since like 7 days now and its not showing any sign its going to stop at that rate. The surprise here is that none of this hit has shown on my heavily filtered google analytics. This make me wanna conclude that this must be DAN.com bots having a field day on my domains. But why only on this 3? @Internet.Domains you have any idea? Are you getting something similar? I may have to change my namservers if i cant get a good reason for those traffics. Anybody here experiencing the same at DAN?

I like dan but traffic there is abnormal and should not be followed to the slightest.

I have a similar experience and attribute it to bots. I wouldn't expect much, if any, traffic until Libra goes mainstream (if it does).

dan seems ok but its tenuous at best where the traffic is really coming from. i stick with sedo usually

*crickets* 😁
As to be expected. At the time of the announcement they were clear in saying they were months out with approvals needed along the way.

In case you haven't noticed there continues to be "Libra" domains developed, almost daily, on the testnet.

Latest FCA guidance is prompted by Libra and hints that crypto is here to stay and has created a new regulated category ‘E-Money Tokens’.

The U.K. is exiting the E.U and positioning itself as a Crypto friendly nation.

It doesn’t take a genius to work out which of the following categories Libra will fall into.

Security Tokens : Regulated
E-money Tokens : Regulated
Utility Tokens : Unregulated
Exchange Tokens : Unregulated
