Honestly, customers don't care about the domain name. They care about the product or service being offered on the site. Beer.com is an ultra premium domain and yet went out of business. Marketing the products or service behind the name is what matters.

Thanks for your reply. I agree when comes to business marketing. However domain names aren't business and vice versa, After reading your post I'm now lead to believe good domain names need no marketing. A catchy/memorable domain name can go a long way void form marketing, and can spread by word of mouth. I feel Domain names can go viral with out marketing not like a business that depends on it. Now I see why some Premium domains names coast so much. There more memorable and can market itself by going viral and or spread by word of mouth. Example. I never seen a facebook commercial. The name simply went viral.

Thank you Riz.M for your input.

@Simles76 I agree with you as well, However A business is not a domain name a domain is not a business. This is a website for Domain names. I can only amuse if all your domain names were businesses you wouldn't be on this site. and you would be promoting/ Marketing your Business rather than promote and or try to sell your Domain Names here.

Thank you simles76 for your input as well.

Question ambiguous.
The way a domainer perceives a domain differs from the way a business (or end user) does. Hence, a domainer will promote a domain in order to sell it profitably, while a business promotes the domain to attract customers/clients for products or services.

"marketing on right domain create vibe of trust and strength.." ABSOLUTELY on that.... And as a new domainer, I don't know yet what a good domain is and I could present it and people find it bad and yes that could cost me... Your suggestions?
