Glad to finally make an account, this site is such a great resource and hope I can start giving back to the community after it's helped me from time to time. and
Ive been into domains since 2003 but have taken breaks here and there. Staring to dive back into it now. It has changed so much in the last 5-10 years thats for sure. I haven't always been in the financial situation to purchase domains but now I am comfortable with making a lower/mid $xxx purchase every once in awhile if I come across a name I like.
Ive have a few vps I mess around with, love learning linux.. installing webserver/private cloud/misc domain tools etc. I try to learn something new everyday. Taking a course on bash at the moment and then after that I'll move on to Python and JavaScript. I'm all about learning how to automate my tasks. I am learning about automating WordPress tasks via wp-cli, that's been great to learn as I am looking to start developing sites as a hobby.
I'm usually a hermit irl so I figured I'd reach out to those who share my own hobbies. Looking forward to participating with yall.
