Hi everybody,

I'm confused, and I really don't understand how it happened. I need your feedback / explanation based on your experience.

I was looking for some new domain names ideas, and after some searches on godaddy appraisal tool, I've seen one very good and free to register. So I directly went to my registar (ovh) and bought a one year registration for the domain with bill + DNS servers redirected to Dan.com.

When I added the domain on Dan, I realized someone already listed it. Then I've checked Domain-Status.com and it seems it was first registered on November 28, 2017.

Some help guys ?:sorry:

Thank you !

Hi
,
1. don't register names, just because of gobaddy tool

2. if already listed, then the domain may have been listed by previous owner

3. if previous owner dropped it, and you were able to re-register it
then think of why they let it go after 2 years

imo...

Thanks for your help. I use the GoDaddy tool sometimes to check quickly if a domain idea is already registered and I then if free I put in special didicated sheet where I classify my ideas.

Umm ok, so if I understand well, it's possible to register a domain just dropped by a previous owner and then if it was already listed for sale a delay can be observed to actualize the servers / owner identity.

Well, yes thank for the point 3 tip.
