Hello.

Recently I discovered a large Indian company that have a domain name 5l.in

I have the exact same domain but.com

Wonder if there is something I can do to offer them my domain as a sale.

Any advices?

As Acme domains says just send them an email.

Your obviously going to be checking some fundamentals .

1. It's a live site on the dot IN
2. Do they trade Internationally
3. the contact info that's available
4. Are they using any sort of 'Trademark registration' signage applicable. If as you say it's a large Company make sure you check all the relevant dates of registration

You don't.

You post a nice landing page (no ads) and wait for them to contact you if you want some real money from the transaction.
I'd also check and see TMs and such.

Upon checking the domain name is an abrevation the the federation.

They issue a magazine related to rel estate that has 75000 monthly reader.

They have a large staff but no details about the company contact details.

OK Well that reads as if the domains in either (their own) .IN or .(Your) COM are of no big deal to them, Unless they also do an online version of the magazine. Also If they don't readily publish their contact details they are not seeking Public communications or interaction.

My last suggestion is see if you can make contact with one of their clients featured in their magazine. (for contact details) Personally I wouldn't bother pursuing this one . As mentioned park it wait and leave it at that
