He's doing what a lot of "buyers" do. They say they are going to buy, but then don't. Its worse when they actually go through the buying process on sales platforms, agreeing to the price, but then not paying and not responding to yours or the sales platforms emails.

Thanks for your response, so I should just stop emailing right ?
And he was the only one that showed interest in the domain, TowTruckOrlando dot com.
What do I do with the domain now?

Leave it up on sales platforms for the price the guy agreed on. Email the guy in a couple weeks, but dont expect anything.

I have a .TV that a guy agreed to a few months ago, it went nowhere. Last month the guy came back on DAN, agreed to the price again, but then disappeared, again.

So sorry if am being a bother, am a newbie, started just this month, so when I got the offer I was really happy, it's quite disappointing. Thank you so much for your time, would do as you have adviced.

Generally speaking, not specific to your matter, some buyers are impulsive and make a deal to buy a name and soon thereafter might suffer from a case of buyer's regret.

Communication becomes one way, seller to buyer, and sometimes " it just is what it is ",
a non-paying buyer.

Go back to Square 1 and start the process over again.

In these sort of instances (particularly on outbound) these potential buyers are in no rush, they had no need or particular interest in the name before your contact. Your the one that stirred their interest and it can just be an impulse to say their interested and agree to buy, then they are happy to spend weeks thinking about it.

My advice is to send a polite email pointing out that your are happy to await their finalizing the purchase but, you will continue to market the domain to other buyers if you haven't received a confirmation in seven days. Then you just have to let things go

By starting over again do u mean doing outbound again for the name?
Besides, when I did outbound for the name I got only one potential buyer, which is the buyer in question. I felt he was the only one interested in the name, do u think otherwise?

Hi

why should this potential pay more than registration fee for 'towtruckorlando.com'

orlandotowingtrucks.com and orlandotowtruck.com are both available to register?

just saying....

imo...

Most likely you are starting over in locating a buyer for your name.

How you choose to pursue a sale is your prerogative, be it by outbound, or by parking and awaiting inbound, priced as " make offer " or priced as " BIN ", offered at auction, etc.

Many name sellers who do outbound receive few to no replies - search out and read up on doing outbound domain name sales.

Whatever sales process / venue suits you best is for you to determine.

I think you should add at least $200 on top of your original asking price. :xf.cool:
Make him feel he have to pay for it in hurry or the price will likely rise again.:xf.laugh:
