advice DomainLore trouble

Hmm. I had the same problem just yesterday.
I used G Suite to get my custom mail [email protected].

I know, expensive, but hopefully the investment will pay itself back in the future.

Hi @Dosebuy, I’m sure they have their good reasons but it’s a little frustrating! I have read G suite is meant to be good, I guess it’s just another thing we’ll have to pay for use it wisely

Just a note to the original OP's post. But i'm sure any of those that follow the UK scene are well aware of the shorter .UK release bringing a deluge of bids on Domainlore. The sensible thing that DL instigated was verifiable and paid for email addresses due to many domain listings being hyped by the original owner to get the domain on to the front page (and then of course just being a non-payer) The shill- bidding is from a long time ago and has nothing to do with the current UK bidding.

I've been fascinated to watch some of the bidding. I'm sure some are getting carried away with themselves (not the established members) On a normal week/month some of these wouldn't even attract the £50 minimum bid.

You know when your high-offer/bid (received) is possibly in jeopardy when it's named 'BUYER 1 or BUYER 2 making all the bids

* They do only deal in the UK name space.

Additional note: they work on a £5 listing fee- refundable if your domain sells at the minimum £50 or above , Charge a 10% listing fee if you want to go above the £50 again refundable providing the domain sells. It's an interesting model that puts the onus on the seller to take a chance on a low initial listing price

You make some very good points, I can see how non-payers would make it extremely frustrating so it’s in everyone’s best interests.. buyers and sellers alike to take the necessary steps! I’ve also been following the bidding with some surprise on how much a lot of the new .UK domains have been fetching.

It’ll be interesting to see where it goes from there!

The owner Deny's seems to be a great guy - he always is well defended by the established members - I've got a bad habit of working out each day how much he has earn't (or not) from the non-sales X £5. A good day for him would only make about £50, So it's not a get rich sales board, more a labor of love.

The other interesting and shown stat is the number of previous sales ratings of the sellers (Everyone starts off with a rating of 2) YEP, when you think why the hell is that listed, seller rating will be 2* All fun and games eh !

* There's an infringement code - blot your copy book equals minus one - minus 2 and your out for good

Yes I have heard from others he’s a good guy as well, I suppose it’s a great quality control measure as well. I’m currently having my domains reviewed before they are put up for auction as well.. I suppose to limit the total total sh*t it doesn’t seem like there’s a get rich quick anything out there!

Something tells me that’ll be my evening reading haha!

@premkumar I tried Zoho and it still wanted a paid for email.. managed to settle on ecohosting which has been great for only like £4 a year and it links to your gmail account as well. All is good
