question Best place to buy old domain for cheap

If your buying a name for seo reasons unless it has existing hardlinks as backlinks it won't rank any faster or any higher. If you actually read up on it you will find new sites are not penalized in google and old domains will offer no advantage without longstanding backlinks. Best off buying name to exactly describe the business your actually promoting.

Registrars only offer new names for sale. I have some 20+ year names but they aren't cheap.

There is no best registrar, although Namsilo, Epik and GD are all very solid. The only thing that matters for aged domains, is that your purchasing at a fraction of retail value. That's it. Nothing else.

Expireddomains.net is cool really but find it difficult searching keyword domains using closeout. Ps can you help on what I should? May be some settings are required. Thanks!

In the filter I use a specific setting. I check the last 48 hours setting, so I only see domains that expire or have expired within the last 48 hours. I then show 200 results, exclude hyphens and numbers, only use a .com extension and of course us the keyword. Then in the results, I click TLDs, to show results with the most registered TLDs. Aft3er that I list everything according to the domain age, and look through. Look on the right for backorder or pending domains. If I see any that I like and then do more search into them, I often click the star icon to set them to my saved list. That is my personal setup anyway

I guess NameSilo and Porkbun are the best. However, if you want to buy Brandable domains, I prefer BrandDo.
