What's the deal with .shop Domain names? I thought they would a high value being associated in retail-shopping, are they just to new or??????? to me it seems like the best extension other them .com
I own both of the only 2 .shop Domain Listed on biz420domains.com
I just find it slightly weird that not many people go for the .shop extension. is there something I'm missing? like actual reasons not to purchase .shop domains?

If you can buy great .shop domain name for good price, just do it, imo!

I was lucky to get only 1 .shop name so far (it has standard renewal):

So I decided I was going to venture into domaining yesterday and I registered 3 domains with basically no research. Obviously after reading multiple threads and blogs on here today I am aware I have a ton of learning to do. With that said what do you think of my domains I blindly registered.

as BriGuy said .shop is just an unknown outside the domain world. .com was the first and the best and has so much history that its the #1 etx that people think of in any country on the globe.

.shop is cool but is worth a fraction of the .com net org now adays and will NEVER be popular. it will go the way of mobi im sure

Yes hempcenter.com was at Enom so the owner could have renewed it there even after it sold at Godaddy, then the transfer and sale would not complete.

But a few hours ago transfer to Godaddy completed, so the sale is now complete and genuine afaik.

I wonder if the original owner is aware of this?

The domain was transferred by the original owner and the sale is void. The same person also transferred hempsnacks during the auction.

If the same thing happened previously, then the owner knew it would happen and maybe was flying a kite to see how high the price would go.
