The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Make a comment at her instagram saying how ugly she is without these domains.

It seems like contacting a celebrity is just difficult in general.

That's because they get can 100s of emails a day from people who want something from them. Before trying to contact a celebrity, ask yourself if you have something to offer, or if you are just another person trying to make easy money or trying to bask in their reflected fame.

You should probably quote my entire statement rather than taking a snippet to change the context.

best way is through their twitter comments tbh... i see celebz actualy liking / replying there. But i'm pretty sure you can't land a domain sail email in their twitter feed.......

but tbh most ppl don't understand domains so they'll say no. You have to ask her marketing expert because I'm pretty sure Kim K couldn't even log into GD...... . . . . . . . . . . . . so why would she buy it.

That's why they have PR firms :tightlyclosedeyes:

but if it were celebs in Asia, different story. They might actually understand its worth because they actually have more than tin cans.

I recently had some issues with a celebrity for it's trademark. I'm talking about Michael Bloomberg. M Bloomberg is an American businesman, politician and considered the sixth- richest person in US. So the same day he announced his political intentions of running for president in 2020. Long story short, I went and purchased Bloomberg.vote. and put it on sale for $50,000. Couple of months later, I received a letter ( see attachment) from Uniform Rapid Suspension Sistem( URS). The complain was submitted by Bloomberg Finance L.P about trademark violation. I ended losing the case, my money, and a lesson learned 🤔.

@Picorio Typical case of cheapskate syndrome plaguing most of the super-rich. I take it you won't vote for M Bloomberg. I know I won't.

On a side note, what is "the Forum"? Never heard of them before.

As soon as they contacted me, I immediately apologized and offered to delete or surrender the domain without going through legal issues. They accepted the " plea- deal" and took over the domain. I lose the ownership right away. Bro I was so scared. Famous people have money and power. 😬

No. It is a typical case of a domain that exists only because of a famous person.
The owner was smart to settle it.

If a celebrity wants a domain they will contact you, either with an offer or legal action.
Celebrities do not want to be spammed with domains for sale.

Unless a domain has a valid generic use, or a use that qualifies under fair use, it is a bad idea to mess with domains like this.

Ok I have a quick question to someone with more knowledge who can share some light about it: since we are talking about trademarked domains and it's legal risks, here is another situation I'm dealing with. When the app extension came out last year, I managed to register CHEAPHOTELS. About 2 weeks later of being registered, I got a notification from my registrar saying that such domain was a trademark and they took it away from me BUT THEY TOLD ME would send an email to the owner or representant of such "brand" "company" letting them know about the availability of such domain for them to grab it. According to my registrar, they would have 30 days to respond back and claim the domain. Long story short, 30 days after ,my registrar gave me back the domain/ownership because the 30 days period were over and the owner or representant of the trademark didn't claimed. What should I do with such domain and we all know that CHEAPHOTELS are high quality keywords. You professional advice will be greatly appreciated 🙏

To each their own. This system only favors the rich. While the rich have a free pass to enslave the poor and middle class at all cost, the poor and middle class must be saints. As long as this double standard persists, all means to survive are acceptable, at least from a humane perspective, not from an elitist worldview.
