I've been buying domain names for businesses I thought of creating since the earliest days of the internet, but am now retiring and have decided it is high time I did something with my stable of names. I don't want to go to the effort of building websites and traffic but several of the domains have good value on their own, I believe. So I figured I'd pop on over here to see what people think about them and to learn more about what's new in domain sales techniques and advice.
Thanks!

Hello!

Here too have some names once purchased for potential developments that never materialized. Believe that is rather common among domain buyers and although I chose to hold onto 'em for quite a while will eventually offer 'em up for sale.

You might consider posting a few of your names in the Forum's APPRAISALS section and see what if any opinions are ventured by NP members.

Welcome to NamePros!

Hello @webmys .. and welcome to NamePros! :)

Your story is a fairly familiar pattern in that I think a large number of domainers (myself included) started domaining due to lack of time to develop our domain assets. Hopefully you'll be able to make some money from yours .. but keep in mind that you bought yours as an end user .. so there's a good chance you won't make too much more than what you paid for them unless you got them more than 20 years ago.

Best of luck with them! :)

Hi, and thanks for the comments. Can you explain why having bought them as an end user would affect the selling price?

I saw on another thread where you said one of your domains was findfamilytime.com and I asked how much you had to pay for it in 2011 since it had already been reg'd in 2007.
GD values it at $1,083 and I think some other members said you might have something if you owned familytime.com that GD values at $17,565. I wish i could give you better news, but i can't:xf.frown:
