question Is that reasonable to buy good Spanish names with .uk extension?

Need your advice, friends.

A lot of good .uk domains became available for purchase.

There are some German and Spanish one word premium domains, which look almost the same like Englih, but have just one different letter.

For example, in English it will be LLLLLs, and in Spanish - LLLLLes.

Does that make sense to buy such Spanish language .uk domains, if their historical prices with .es extension have been in xx.xxx figures?

I looked into this and although I’m not certain, the Hispanic population in the UK is quite small in comparison to the US, so I decided against it. I was looking into hoteles.uk.

In fact, hoteles.uk was the domain name I was speaking about:) I bought it:) Though still not sure if it was the correct decision.

I don’t think it was a bad decision, considering the .es extension sold for XXXXXX, but it may take more time as the .uk extension isn’t too popular at the moment. I was also a bidder on the name early on. Congrats!

Generally, not good idea. But this one is probably fine.

It could have UK hotel info in Spanish for tourists

hoteles.es 90,400 USD 2018-12-02 Backorders.es
182k spanish people in the UK as of 2017 stats.
8% of the UK population can speak/understand Spanish
Not bad, but I hope you did not pay more than $3k.

Yep, I`ve decided that my limit will be below 1.5K EUR. So was the winning bid. Though close.
