Great analogy. Well, with all the media both sides today getting sick of it with few historical details about the Census question I decided to find out the facts. Obama’s era was when the Census was changed to not ask all the “long form” questions, I found them in pdf on census.gov. The short form was written to use in 2010 to have minimal information. If you go looking at Census questions back to 1970, all asked about this Citizenship question and your parents even and birthplace. Not until 2010, was it changed. Crazy to argue over it at all.

Personally, I think he should get 45 years per victim. At least.

And this isn't a partisan issue - we're talking about the exploitation of kids. Everyone implicated in this needs to be investigated.

True, but we can hope for rule of law winning out.

Why is this even a "thing?" I don't get it. Throw the book at anyone who was a party to this. No plea deals for slap-on-the-wrist sentences. Tell prosecutors what you know and maybe they leave some of your assets for your family instead of confiscating everything. Or maybe you spend those 45 years in solitary instead of the general population.

This is awful, but it's far from new. It was probably worse in the past, when such behavior was simply winked at. It was only recently that people started caring about this stuff. Even now, the still mostly just pretend to care.

They should not only look at who was involved, but look at who let him off the first time around. Very dirty politics.

So far as politics, I suspect he is back in the clink because some people think they can get Trump. Once again, I think they will find more Clintons and others under that rock. Trump just doesn't seem the type to go for kids, as much as his haters want to believe that. The same reason the rape charges against him are mostly nonsense. He's extremely vain - he needs to believe that women are attracted to him. Taking them by force or use of power doesn't fit with that.

I am not exactly sure what your saying, If you are speaking of "due process" with criminals, the due process has failed so many through out our history, the reduction of charges to a far lessor charge that only brings probation for crimes that warrant nothing less than prison time. it is our judicial system, it is far from perfect but it is all we have.

Epstein got a slap on the wrist for this once already (aka it was "fixed" for him), but now SDNY has taken it up. Maybe they'll get something done.

Festival charges double ticket price for 'non-people of colour'
The controversial pricing plan has led to one artist pulling out of the event, saying she was "enraged" by the policy.
The organisers of the AfroFuture Fest, set for 3-4 August, are charging lower rates for tickets bought by "people of colour" than for "non-people of colour".

Early bird tickets for "POC" were $10 and $20 for "Non-POC".

The organisers explained their pricing in the "frequently asked questions" section of their event website.

It stated: "Why do we have POC (people of colour) and Non-POC (white people) tickets? I'm glad you asked! Equality means treating everyone the same.

"Equity is insuring (sic) everyone has what they need to be successful. Our ticket structure was built to insure (sic) that the most marginalised communities (people of colour) are provided with an equitable chance at enjoying events in their own community (black Detroit)."

I would have to agree with this, with such organizations as LuLac, Illegals are afforded the luxury of being directed to the agencies that will provide them food and housing, they are also afforded pro bono lawyers.

All this while homeless American Citizens sit and sleep under bridges.
