I have one .com that is registered on 16 April 1997.

I still have the first two domains I registered - FSK.org 12/12/1997 and BCPSS.com 07/03/1998. Because I am in the process of retiring they could both be on the market - because I am no longer using them.

It doesn't. It's one of the longest-running myths in domaining. Whatever value it adds is a combination of very paltry, and mostly psychological. What's important is SERP numbers, traffic, future brand value, TLD, etc. Look at DeepFake.com for instance, would you really pass it up for $500 because it's only a few years old?
