All the lazy, entitled Millennials living at age 30 in Mommy and Daddies basement playing online video games and collecting free universal basic income, and soon to have no more student debts to pay, heck they have no reason to work anyway, and for those sorts of jobs Illegal Aliens will do, the Millennials won’t do the work anyway.

It used to be back in the 50's all the way to the 80's that you could work for a company for 25-35 years and be guaranteed a comfortable pension, also buy a house at an affordable price (and be able to sell it at significant profit within a year or two), buy a couple of cars, take a vacation or two every year, and be debt free.

Today, companies are either firing people or reducing hours so they don't have to pay pension. Debts are at an all time high. Housing prices are ballooning and no longer guarantee a profit, instead they are a liability and mean more debt. Rental rates in cities where there are jobs are ridiculously expense. This will kill any incentive to work or just mean you have no choice but to move back with mom and dad. Don't blame immigrants for that.

Anyone ever notice how well dressed the immigrants are when trying to cross the boarder , they look rich as opposed to the average American citizen that is homeless.

Seeking asylum my fucking ass, they are full of shit with their nonsense.

go fight for your country like Americans have to get rights and preserve freedom, it wasn't free and without lives being lost for the people of the US but asylum seekers want it totally free.

The point is that the Americas were invaded by illegal immigrants.

By that standard, every corner of the world was invaded by illegal immigrants. Which is, of course, nonsense, since there were no laws that applied to migration, hence no illegality, and it was not always an invasion. But yes, all countries in the world were built by "immigrants."

If you are arguing for massive and uncontrolled immigration, good luck with that. We know how that ends up. People constantly mischaracterize the desire for some immigration controls as being anti-immigrant. Perhaps because they can't successfully argue against a reasonable immigration policy, so they have to rephrase the debate.

How would you feel if you lived 200 years ago and people would tell you go back to Europe and fight for your country instead of coming here?

You still have not answered what harm are immigrants doing to the US.

Not arguing for massive and uncontrolled immigration. That resulted in massive casualties the last time it happened. I am arguing against the negative stigma plastered on immigrants that don't intend any harm to the US.

If you want to direct your anger somewhere where it makes sense, let me know and I will give you real targets.

I thought our economy was thriving? you said that earlier. you just explained why Americans are fucking pissed off, hyper inflation, housing, today's cost of living vs wages vs corporate America.

Immigrants are taking American jobs, Americans housing, Americans resources , in the call center, banking, auto and the list is long, these people being work visa holders from India, Africa, Mexico, Cuba and that list is long as well.

America is trying to get it's shit together and we need immigrants out of the country until we have done so.

about 4 years ago i was fishing in Minnesota, we strayed off and entered Canadian waters, we were met almost immediately by Canadian authorities telling us we had entered Canada, they wanted to see a passport, they wanted credentials, They followed us back into American waters. I said to myself, outstanding job by the Canadian authorities.

Well, are you saying the job numbers are wrong?

The stats are not necessarily reflective of what people are feeling on the ground.

Based on your comments, you should be more upset about India and China than the immigrants coming from Central America who are not stealing jobs from Americans. There are no facts to support that. In fact, the opposite, they are doing jobs no American wants to take.

Outsourcing is taking more jobs than immigrants.

Be upset at the CEO's, banks, investment firms, mortgage companies, politicians, etc., that are taking money from the average Joe to please their investors and supporters. That's were the real money and jobs are. Heck, Russia is stealing more money from you than immigrants.

That would also happen in the USA and it happens every single day. You have no idea how many times I have been stopped and frisked and my car checked in the US.

What TCK and other lefties like him don't seem to, or want to understand is that no one here has a problem will LEGAL immigration coming into the US or Europe. It's the ILLEGAL invasion in a massive scale that we are against.

It's the pathetic Open border policy of the Leftist governments in Europe and the US that so many of us are against for common sense reasons.

Liberals are such hypocrites. They are OK with allowing Illegals coming in and advocating for Open Borders, but the bloody hypocrites would NEVER leave their homes with doors and windows open or allow an illegal to take over their home.

It's called COMMON SENSE. If you don't have it, then you'll never understand anything LOGICAL...

Please don't label me. I am politically neutral. Labeling stems conversation and is a big part of the polarization in the US.

Since I cross both the north and south borders often, I want to let you know that US Border Agents are frickin' heroes. They are the most professional agents I have encountered. You should be extremely proud of what your border patrol agents are doing. Fantastic job.

Sarcasm that post for Ms. Liberal everything. Kill incentive to work? Huh? You ever washed dishes? Most people of my Generation did. Never too proud to do crappy jobs.

So says the Media, that everybody should “learn to code”, yeah right. If someone has $100k student debt for a useless history or art degree, why should the rest of us subsidize their own stupidity? Choices and free will. Engineering degrees I am sure there are plenty of jobs.

I am advanced age, and have no incentive to start more businesses, risk capital, nor live in the US nor pay taxes for this current Obama Clinton Bush mess and now open border nonsense. I didnt work for any Govt job or say 20 years as some public employee getting 80% pension income at 45 retired after 20 years.

Good Manufacturing jobs were exported starting 40 years ago. There has been no wage growth for years. At 21, I was making $11.50 an hour, doing non union, dirty filthy factory work, but that was many decades ago. Then came the NAFTA scam. Then Allowing Japanese Companies to copy US technology and import it to the US, instead of tariffing imported all Autos years ago was a mistake. GM and Detroits shitty quality Union built cars forced buyers to switch (Meanwhile the Japanese refused to buy foreign cars, unless classic collector 69’ types), this opened the doors for Toyota, Datsun, Kia and Honda. Toyota who used to scam the tax system with importing chassis only to avoid taxes.

Ross Perot predicted the mess now. Consumerism and overspending debt is personal responsibilty, not collectiveism the rest of us should sponsor. Nobody is entitled to a big screen TV, a car, house, if you can afford one fine. Same with rent, you cant afford a nice place you start in the low rent area and if you don’t work, you don’t eat.

IIlegals have for years, displaced entry level jobs for legal citizens with no skills and hurt them and replaced “teenagers” jobs. In retail, etc. kids like me when young used to do entry level work and shit jobs like wash dishes, wash cars, deliver papers, clean toilets and kitchens in restaurants, etc. certainly has been a problem since 70’s-80’s. Especially when some dumb politicians now think $15 minimum wage for unskilled labor is ok. Working at Starbucks expecting a living wage, so they need to charge $5. For a stupid cup of coffee? Insane.

Both Political parties caused this mess.

Legal Immigrants should be skilled and like Trump states, basic common sense on merit. Language skills, workforce skills. They should not allow Foreign companies to buy up US Companies. The Govt should deport anyone who is working but not intending to permanently reside as many they are spies and future Competitors. The US has enough dishwashers, gardeners and house cleaners for now, and from the first waves of Illegals in 70’s- 80’s. No free anything for anyone who broke immigration laws to enter. Be it on a plane overstaying a visa or hopping the fence. Its ludicrous. Teenagers should work at Fast Food say McDonalds, mandatory work ethic prepatory training.

Americans are f*cking pissed off, hyper inflation, housing,

Mismanaged economy. Making interest rates 2% is crazy. Loaning 0% to banks? This causes hyper inflation, speculation. Fucked up banks loaning loser people getting no down loans they never qualified for, and housing crash 2008-2009. Now lowering interest rates again? Kicking the can down the road. Stock market is way over valued, weighted by crazy P/E ratio stocks.

Not sure what you mean but I worked since I was 9 years old. I was an immigrant back then. Delivering newspapers (Toronto Star and Toronto Sun) and Sears catalogues. I remember my buggy's wheels bending sideways under the weight of the Christmas catalogue on a cold Canadian winter day. I doubt I would choose to do that job if I had better employment options.

@offthehandle

Also, washing dishes in the 80's was a lot different than washing dishes in 2019. If you want, I can explain why.

Then I was correct. A liberal masquerading as neutral... LOL. Anyone who advocates Open borders or feels that all illegals have a right to go into any country they wish to, cannot be neutral. Will you also be re-writing history, especially history involving Conservatives and whites, like so many are doing?

Within just the last 48 hours.
- YouTube removes video exposing Google election meddling.
- Vimeo bans journalism exposing anti-Trump election meddling.
- Reddit censors biggest pro-Trump forum on the Internet.

But there's no political bias, honest!

This illustrates how the left doesn’t care about “hate speech,” they just hate speech. Period.

Where the hell do you come off that I am advocating Open Borders? That's the problem with the dialogue in the US today. You have to be either progressive or liberal or conservative, left or right, far right or far left. This is so stupid. And just kills the conversation.

Also, the impression in the world is that the US is OK with immigrants from Poland or Norway but not OK with immigrants from El Salvador or Nicaragua. Why is that?

It's the wrong impression. I'm willing to bet that El Salvador and Nicaragua have sent ILLEGALLY at least 10.000 x more people than Poland or Norway.
