I won a domain name listed on namejet on 21st, paid on 22nd and till this moment, no news as to when I would get the domain name. Does anybody know how it works? It is my first time buying a name from there.

Thanks

I think the owner is holding back from transferring the domain to their enom account. maybe the auction didn't end as they expected. I lost VPO.CO at $69 because I failed to set a reserve. When the auction ended, I was reluctant to transfer. I eventually did transferred just to save my reputation :xf.grin::xf.grin::xf.grin:

The same scenario may be playing out in your case. If the owner is upfront and transferred on time, it usually take Namejet few minutes to push the domain into the buyer's account.

Sometimes the issue may be from Enom. They have restrictions that doesn't allow transactions from some regions.

So the seller may be encountering challenge in moving the domain to his/her Enom account.

Nobody would have bought this domain name more than I had paid for it.

The company behind it is a reputable company and known. I am sure they wouldn't want to tarnish their image.

Hello,

Thank you for letting us know.

We have contacted the seller reminding them to transfer their sold domains as soon as possible.

Thanks for your patience.

Nothing yet.

There needs to be some safeguards in these situations. Otherwise its just hurts the industry as a whole. Not to mention the legal issues.

I am a regular seller at Namejet. As far as I know, Namejet allows sellers 20 days to transfer their domains to enom upon a sale.
They do take action against sellers who fail to deliver the asset and refund the buyer their amount. You may contact Namejet support for more information.

It may not be from Namejet. I sold a name early this week but am having a challenge moving it to my Enom account.

It keeps telling me they don't process transactions from this geographical location at the moment.

Enom support requested that I send my IP address so they can whitelist it. But the one I get from Google as directed by a friend keep changing.

Please who can direct me on how to get the IP address of my laptop that is fixed ie don't change?
