Most domain sell around $40 on NamePros - assuming they're worth anything. Anyone see different? Now, I do know some good salesman could get more on NamePros and - especially - Sedo, Afternic, GoDaddy etc..

I don't really know for sure .. but you're just asking for conflicting and confusing replies by making a very unspecific question like that.

Because at the end of the day a domain will sell for an amount related to it's quality.

But keep in mind that venue and who you sell it to is also an important factor.

You will NEVER get optimal pricing in a forum or in a domainer focused auction. The only way to get optimal pricing is to sit and wait for an end user. The next level down is outbounding to end users. The far far FAR FAR below that is wholesaling. But even in wholesaling a lot depends on who your audience is and who is buying from you.

All that said .. most domains here do not sell for $40 .. it's important to note that most domains for sale here at NamePros simply DO NOT SELL! Most domains being put up for sale are either vastly overpriced (for wholesalers) .. or more likely .. simply garbage domains that are not even worth renewal fees.

The bulk of domains I see for sale here at NamePros I would actually not even take for free.

There most definitely are exceptions .. but it's wrong to make a statement saying most domains sell around $40 .. more importantly .. it's gives the wrong impression to talk about most domains like they were mostly similar. Each domain is unique .. with such a colossal range in quality and value that you just can't lump them all together like that.
