advice Which domain to use for new project?

I'm launching a browser based cloud application that lets organisations responsible for grant funding / commissioning better manage the process. It allows funders to easily keep track of multiple budgets, applications, payments and performance of services - with attractive dashboards and a streamlined user interface.

The service will be predominantly aimed at public sector agencies which will predominantly be funding charities / social enterprises. The audience is potentially global, although initially targeting UK based funders.

In terms of a domain name, I wanted something short, non-region specific and memorable.

I had intended to use "ufund" in the io extension

My main concern with this is that .io isn't particularly known outside of tech circles, and whilst this is a tech solution, the audience might not be familiar with it.

I then recently acquired "sums" in the org extension

This has a good ring to it in my mind, as ultimately the software is all about managing various sums of money and performing various calculations etc. It's also short and memorable.

The software is free to use, although full functionality requires a paid subscription.

What do people think?
