Hi, I registered a domain name and would like to sell on Godaddy auctions but I was wondering if I need to transfer the domain name to Godaddy before it can be listed on their auction

However it makes the transfer to the buyer easier and usually quicker.

Nope. You'll just need to copy TXT from your registrar, and change the TXT on Godaddy. There's a step-by-step process on the site

List your name at goddady auctions. In settings you will find your txt record. Then go to the registrar where your domain is and add that txt record to your domain.

No, but some advice is that if you're doing it via. GoDaddy Auctions and the domain isn't on GoDaddy; wait until there is no transfer lock or it can be a bit fiddly and annoying

Another help please:

1) I can't find a way to input my godaddy txt record on my namesilo domain. Where do I edit dns wrt txt on namesilo?

2) My godaddy domain auction is empty, can't see my listed domains.

1) has been sorted, thanks so much

2) Pending is still empty. I'm using my mobile phone, do you think that's the issue?

Did You Already Have Domains Approved And In Your Godaddy Auctions List?

If You Previously Submitted Your Domains Whilst You Were Figuring Out The TXT Record Issue Then You May Need To Resubmit. (they give up trying after 2-3 days i believe)

You need to resubmit the domains if they are not in your "selling" or "pending"
