The new weekly domain sales report is out at DNJournal.com – and what a week it was! We saw the biggest all cash domain sale ever publicly reported – a $30 million blockbuster that more than doubled the price of the previous record holder. We also saw the biggest non. Com sale of the year to date – a $400,000 .org that would have topped our all extension Top 20 Sales Chart just about any other week but this one. We also got prices from five previously undisclosed 3-letter .com sales, all of which landed on the top half of this week’s chart! You can get the details on these and all of the the week other notable sales here: https://www.dnjournal.com/archive/domainsales/2019/20190626.htm

This is a new day for Domain Investors, and a new hope. That the Domain Name Business is here to stay and aren't going anywhere any time soon!

Grass.org seems like a good buy at 5k

What a week!

Some other sales that would normally have got attention were swamped in the excitement over voice (com) and casinos (org). The $15k sale of LoveLetter (co) is significant, as well as all the $29.9k+ each LLL com sales by Graham Haynes and the NPay sale by the folks at Empire. Alps (ch) is an incredible name that I could have seen going for more. Also iFold is a pretty great name!

Does anyone know why 4U(tube) was in this report at $12k when NameBio listed it quite a while ago (May 13)? I presume some delay on getting confirmation documentation, maybe.

Question to long term domain sales watchers - When huge sales with lots of publicity have happened in the past, has there been an echo effect where some significant other sales were triggered by the excitement of the big sales, and the verification they provided of the value of digital assets? By the way, surprised that the main tech/economic press have not mentioned more the $30M plus voice sale.
