Just wondering what the general thoughts are about whether the recent trend to legalize marijuana will boost the prices of pot-related domains?

lolI hope they will make cannabis wear, so when it is outdated, you can roll it like a joint and smoke it
Never financed a name, seems like a nice option to offer.
Anyone else finance or lease or rent a name?
So a deal you entered into with Epik with a (locked into) 5% rate, was raised to 9% in the middle of the deal??? 'If'...this is so, it furthers validates what so many are saying about the 'owner' there.Unfortunately the 5% rate I'm locked into for that deal was raised this year to 9%

I work near 5 pot shops within 2 blocks (at least 5 shops). These are small places and obviously don't have tons of money... some more than others. There will be some people who pour their savings into their shop and don't have enough money to spend thousands on a decent domain. Offering up a payment plan is a great way to get them the domain that they want, at a price that they can afford. Setting up shop is not a cheap thing...especially when banks are hesitant to loan money due to the federal issues.Endusers pay. Resellers ( brokers ) will pay around $300 bucks.
The notion that any legitimate Cannabis business needs too borrow money for a domain is reduculious. They have money and alot. Just a few lights as a grower or hours on a legal bill is a domain. A extracting system is 10s of thousands. A cone filling machine 15 grand. Some craft markets are evolving, these are small players. Currently most everyone out there has substantial funding. Hard too loose these days.
If a enduser can find you, and wants the brand. They will pay if they see it as a important part of their business model.
I'd be suspect of anyone on a payment plan for a Cannabis domain.
No if they are looking for a domain before they get a permitt, absolutely find a way. Look at the state their in, and ask about where they are in the pernitting process. And then make a more educated decision.

Iβve done 2 finance deals where both cannabis companies had millions in funding. Itβs really a matter of where they want to put their money and at what rate.Endusers pay. Resellers ( brokers ) will pay around $300 bucks.
