Looks like Facebook bought Calibra.com back in Feb of this year. Or at least it was transferred.

I bet it went for cheap. Facebook on Stealth mode I bet. I wonder who sold it?

Any guess how much it sold for?

And of course China (Anhui)already squatting on FacebookCalibra.com (China)
FacebookLibra.com (China)
Librafacebook.com (Valparaiso)
CalibraFacebook.com (Israel)

Lol

That acquisition was reported for a bit now. But for how much, I have no clue. I just hope the seller isn't kicking themselves now lol

lol @ the Blatant TM's :) I find it funny for some reason. "facebook" really

Did you manage to get any decent libra related names?

The seller shouldn't be upset, whatever he sold at. If he got five or six figures it was a good price.

To pretend you deserve the value FB or any end user creates when they develop a brand around a domain is foolish.

Nah. I quit the obvious ones. I just hang in the grey areas now although I still get caught in the crossfire.

As far as Facebook I do remember years ago I heard of "Facebook Bait and Tackle" lol

Regardless of FB or no FB it's was a great one word brand. Worth 5 - 6 figures

Nah doubt it. Probably like Hugedomains pricing.

From th hosterstats. It looks like someone held on to it then someone got word of something bought it for cheap then sold it for big to Facebook.

I'd be more sad for the guy who held on to it for couple years and sold it to the "in the know" guy.

Someone here sold the kid messenger to Facebook a few years back and it was discussed then they always open with 10K or 20K.

It does make sense that you'd obsess over this. :-P I mean you spend a lifetime obsessing over how much you may squeeze out of any company that inquires on any domain of yours. Or get duly resentful if any company tries to muscle a trademarked domain out of you. :glasses:
