Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Spaceship Spaceship
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

sold VRPlace.com $2,100

Venue: Godaddy Make offer
Purchase price: ~$500 as a packaged deal
Date purchased: 2017

Sorry but VR is not dead lol. I have made high xx,xxx in sales with MassVR.com being my largest public sale at $15,000. I still turn down $500 offers on the regular via Godaddy and Uniregistry. Just because you don't see the action doesn't mean there's none going on in the background. A couple guys on here share their sales, offers, and intentions with me in private and I share with them. It's very helpful in getting a slight overview of the industry. I have over 300 premium VR,XR,AR domains (some I bought x,xxx) and am very happy I got in this niche when I did. I still intend on buying more names as deals present themselves.

2 seperate VR reports today from IDC and PwC that gives good market forecasts for a VR+keyword i have in .com:-

https://www.itwire.com/strategy/idc-forecast-says-ar-vr-spending-to-touch-us$160b-by-2023.html

"The three consumer use cases for AR/VR (VR gaming, VR video/feature viewing, and AR gaming) were forecast to see spending of US$20.8 billion in 2023."

https://www.insider.co.uk/news/hunger-internet-data-grow-uk-16263939

"While VR gaming leads the way in revenue, VR video is the fastest growing sub-sector and PwC expects it will contribute to the industry as a whole being worth £294 million by 2023." (this is just UK market).

I sincerely hope I’m wrong. I hope those names sell. But I don’t think they will.

I am wondering if the new Stadia gaming network will take virtual reality to the next level, mainly because there would be no limit to the possibilities.

Sold VRintranet / com low xxx
Congrats, nice little sale.
I've also received a few offers, its been a long and stagnant 3 years for VR but realistically speaking this industry is projected to worth $xxx BILLION within a few years by multiple research companies, this has never happened before! (the only exception being cloud)
Now that the first standalone vr headset arrived, there will be exponential growth coming.

With E3 this week, it should be interesting to see whats new for VR. Microsoft is expected to announce their next console and while Sony isn't attending E3 this year, I suspect the moment Microsoft talks about their next console, they will be quick to respond about the PS5, which will play a big role in the future of VR.

I sold VRG(io) $1100.00 on undeveloped today (y)

I recently listed all VR domains for sale as was just holding for a while. I did renew it for 6yrs so made $736 profit

9% of sale goes to undeveloped. All profits goes across to crypto :xf.smile:
