I have great success with the domains and did many quick flips in the last two years(Leaking.com, VapingSupplies, MeetingSoftware.com, Migrate.org, Shooting.net, FinanceStrategy.com- sold this one recently).

I had many sources to acquire the domains on initial days and no taxes on Godaddy's domains. Namecheap inventory moved from Namejet and eNom and Tucows are sending the domains to Godaddy. Dropcatch auctions are reaching end users prices. How difficult to outbid the bidders on Godaddy and they are adding 18% GST to Indian customers as well.

I sold many domains on Flippa and they updated their website and moved their interest to website business completely. I still sell the domains on Flippa for profit but, not big margins.

I didn't do anything wrong like Nokia's CEO statement

I have two employees and won't survive a long time if I don't have enough cash flow and started to focus on domain parking. My bodis account is earning $2 to $3 USD per day but it has to be $10 USD per day. I need to do experiments to generate more income.
I'm also concerned about domaining growth. I get sales from Afternic, Godaddy, End-user sales but not sure when I get a sale!

Started developing a domain name along ago, TechM.com but lost interest. I have picked ihackr.com recently and it has Alexa rank on both USA and Global but getting traffic but it seems not a good move. My resources have bandwidth so they can work for 4 hours on Website development.

I'm looking for suggestions from fellow domainers and your comments will be much appreciated!

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Those are 1 million dollar questions.

How many names do you hold in total? If you need regular sales that create reliable cash flow, you need to have a portfolio of 5000 to 20000 names at least, depending on quality and pricing. If you are at 1%-2%, then that will mean 50 to 400 sales a year or a sale in a week to a sale in a day.

If you are having employees and you are in India, it might make sense for you to do geo name sales to the West. Since price per name acquisition is low and sell through could be 10%+, the impact of 18% VAT will be less felt.

Also, you might want to move your domain business offshore to avoid being taxed in India.
