This information would be useful when someone wants to know if he is getting good or bad results listing his domain names for selling as a premium, buy it now, offer/counter offer, etc. in a given domain selling site.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
So you have sold about 9-12 names, depending if 35 is post or pre?

And what are your total proceeds from the sales and how many were end user?

And if you believe it is sustainable why don't you scale up?

Sold 8 domains so far. the highest sale was around $2600. the lowest sale was $200.

Paid $950 USD for all of them, Sold for $5,050

All of them were end users ( The domain I sold for $2,600 still doesn't have a website up, so I don't know about that one )

Used $2,000 to acquire 11 more names in the last week and a half ( and with high quality, that I actually think can sell for mid-high 4 figures ) Like EthExchange,BitcoinSwap & more ( in king ) and I'm looking to acquire more high quality names with $1,000. and then I'll just wait for sales and take some money off it to spend on more names.

I don't think I will ever have more than 50 domains on my portfolio (Unless I'll make a huge sale) because all of the names I acquire are with high quality and costs mid 3 digits. I barely have any handregs

There is no such statistics. You may sell for $500.000, you may sell for $100 here, and only here to members of NamePros. You may not sell ever to noone. All depends of name. No statistics.

Knowing the average selling price of second hand domains would be more useful. Because if you know the average price you can price around the average for most of the domains that you have no idea on their value. Hence at least those domains will more likely be sold in the near future. If you already know the value, just lower the price to sell faster or raise the price to sell later. Pricing and timing are everything.

Average price for 2-word .com $1000-$10000,

Average price for a newgtld extensions with 1 word, I mean Word dot Word, or Word.Word - maybe $100-$2000, or $10000 if you are very lucky.

Average price for 1 word .com, I mean Word.com, maybe $10000, maybe $40000, but if it's real word, not hand-made "word".

I've been told it's 1-3% of the domains a year. but I've sold 25% of my domains in the last 8 months and I have 35.

It's all about quality.

I agree with you. It's all about quality.
