Hi guys,

As I commented in my previous post, I bought DomainTrader and I'm giving it a new look, my style is minimalist, I think I'm doing a good job.

Now, I have two very powerful domains to exploit my portfolio, the first is nameflipping.com and the other is hugeweb.com, with which would you exploit it? hugeweb can capture traffic from hugedomains, but would it look good ??

I try to leave a picture of what I am doing:

Hola @Riz M. Thank you for your response!

Keywords seo, for example:

HUGE + DOMAINS + WEB + MARKET

I like hugeweb.com... it's more professional and can grow with your brand.

I actually have a domain trader license too, and wanted to sell it. It's the site in my signature. gotbrands

With HugeWeb one potential strategy you could test is to run Adword campaigns when someone searches in Google or Bing for "Huge Domains". Obviously no guarantee it will generate sales.

The problem with Domain Trader is that the developer abandoned it completely, I bought it because I
seems the most complete software, I made a great effort and update the core pra that will work with php 7.3, also I have developed a module of static blogs and a very minimalist design.

It is difficult to currently sell a license without these modifications, I believe that most scripts fail, because look obsolete.

I thought Domain Trader had some good potential, but the developer was such an a-hole. Thought he was better than everyone else. Has it really been abandoned? I also understood that if it ever was to be abandoned, it probably meant you website wouldn't work. I actually went looking to your 2 websites expecting to see Domain Trader in action. I now realize why. That's the problem with these so called "professional" script sellers on places like themeforest.net/codecanyon.net. They put keys in their code to secure their intellectual property. No problem with that. But these keys will probably not work, when they walk away from their product :( Not sure if this was the case here.

I think the licence keys are suppose to always work, but for one website(But I'd have to look into what you mentioned). From what i heard earlier on, some of the big sites have their software as the foundation. And you can developed the site to look and function like a pro site with what they give. But you would have to hire someone to update it etc...

I like what they offer, but i'm not a developer/coder and it's not like wordpress or shopify where you can just add apps and move things around yourself. I would only recommend it if you are doing a serious project and have the money and tools to update and develop. I don't think selling domains requires all that, atleast not for me. But i always wanted to test the self parking it offered.

Yep. If you change you mind about the domain you want to use. You need to buy another license. Is my understanding how it works. Maybe he makes exceptions. I don't know. I don't think it's too much to ask, that the script should be able to be used on any 1 website with your license keys.

They said you can switch the license to another domain of your own. But if we are to sell the license/website to a new person, there is a $500 license transfer fee.

The license activation is not working, so you can transfer your “license” for free

What does that mean? The license will now work on any domain? Or. All domains are now unregistered? Was there an announcement from the owner about dropping support? Would you have a link?

I am doing many tests with Domaintrader and in the file where you put the license you can put any code and it works, at least my copy is not linked to the domain, it is the only thing I can say, my experience.

Crivion is still selling it on Code Canyon. Why are you saying it's been abandoned?

Why were you wanting to sell it. If you don't mind me asking?

Are you finding the same issues as @nameflipping with the license registration?

I don't have the freedom i need. I can't add apps or make any design change by myself. I can't say, hey i want to add a new page, like wordpress or shopify etc. I feel like i have to constanty be paying people even for the smallest things. I feel like you need some solid coding knowledge to take on this script. Or get ready to spend. Don't get me wrong it has alot of features i like..which is what pulled me to it in the first place.
I spend alot to buy it and then customize the theme. You can't even tell gotbrands is from that script.

But i don't have a store or a blog...it's a ok portfolio site that looks really professional. But i feel i could have done the same with another platform for way way less. I just got caught up in all the features i didn't even need. Maybe one day I will do something with it.

Lastly, I'm working on a new portfolio site/shop called " Launch Up".
So with this new site, I wouldn't know the purpose for this script...atleast at the moment.

Conclusion: it's not a bad script, it just may not be for me(my skillset) or my budget and the flexibility i need.

@Rory Ivey - I understand. I'm not a programmer either. I have spend a ton of money over the last 2 years on upgrading my website. And I'm still not happy with it :( But it would be an impossible task to try to import it into a shell like Domain Trader.

Aaagh! That explains a lot :) Smart Script Solutions seems to be selling this. When did this become obsolete?

LOL, I really do not say when I do not know exactly, but for the following data I've been thinking for a long time,

The php is based on 5.3 (5 years) the themes are based on smarty (5 years) boostrap (3.0).

The developer's website is totally abandoned, I have had to update all this by hand, for me it is the best trading software.
