I've been watching for a domain for a few months now, it expired last month on the 5th of April, and now its on pendingdelete/redemptioperiod, which means it should be up on one of these expiring domain auctions anytime now, but i cant find it.

The domain is registered with Enom, and their site still states that their auction partner is Namejet,

but i found this article
https://domainnamewire.com/2019/04/...-from-namejet-to-godaddy-for-expired-domains/

Big news: Enom switches from NameJet to GoDaddy for expired domains

This morning I noticed many Enom domain names flowing through GoDaddy Auctions’ expiry stream.

The move is not surprising. Tucows (NASDAQ: TCX), which acquired Enom in 2017, already sends its non-Enom inventory to GoDaddy. For its Tucows domains, it essentially did a bake-off between GoDaddy Auctions and NameJet to figure out which one produced the most revenue. GoDaddy won.

The Enom acquisition came with a 50% ownership interest in NameJet and Tucows kept Enom’s expired domains on NameJet while sending its other domains to GoDaddy. But Tucows sold its stake in NameJet to Web.com late last year.

but i can't find any more info on this, and i cant find the domain on either auction service.

Does anyone know if this information is correct?
As i've said, Enom's website still lists Namejet as their expiring domain auction partner.

thanks.

I agree with you, too many topics get moved to reviews when they mention a business even though they are not reviews.

I thought I read somewhere that enom expiries are going to godaddy. I can't verify that, it just seems to ring a bell of sorts.

Yes Enom now goes to GoDaddy. I also don't understand why everything goes to review when there was no review or commentary about the actual company.

They must not send every domain that expires to these auction services. I waited until it actually was deleted from icann to register it. weird.

Can anyone confirm that Enom expirations still go to GoDaddy? Or is the answer "it depends"?

I'm trying to catch a name that expired on Enom on June 20, and it's not showing up in either Namejet or GoDaddy auctions listings yet.

Tucows sends eNom domains to GoDaddy Auctions, yes. Can't guarantee that 100% of all expiry is sent to us, though; we auction what we are sent.

Yeah, that's not a satisfactory answer for someone who's pursing a specific domain.

Does anyone know what the f*** is going on at Enom and how they decide who auctions their drops? The lady from Namejet customer service was also kind of clueless. She said Namejet gets some Enom names but not all.
