Good luck with your sales!

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Sold NGFL.net for $8,888.
Still owns the .com and .org version.
Congrats with a sale. Just for my interest, what did cause you to price this domain so high?

Actually the buyer came via Uniregistry lander for NGFL.org. But later changed the mood and decided to go with .net when I informed of having .com and .net as well. I quoted $8,888 which was the BIN price set at Sedo/Afternic.

Buyer tried all possible means to get at lower price and smartly he first tried to buy .org and later decided for .net which ultimately was the purpose IMO. I stick to the original quoted price and for .com the budget was well over for the buyer.

My bad luck, the buyer not sure why but at the last moment bought via Register.com than using Uniregistry checkout and I’d to bear 20% commission.

@Bohdan
Thanks!
One of the reason was that I actually had the leverage to ask high since I'd all .com/.net/.org

Congrats on the sale.

Just my two cents
I guess the buyer may have decided to deliberately buy from Register.com when you did not lower your price knowing that it would cost you a 20% commission. That may have been done as a result of you not lowering the price so that you still get lesser than your asking price. Therefore it may be needful to set the BINs on Sedo/Afternic to 20% above the BIN on your landing page. Potential buyers may, therefore, consider transacting directly via landing page to save some cash and you on the other hand still get your sale for your intended price.

It is, however, a smart move on your part to own the three extensions thereby giving you more bargaining power 'cos I personally do not think a random four-letter .net would have sold for that price.

Maybe register let them pay via cc where Uniregistry would have been capped at $5K,
or they have previous dealings there.

Sold Fit // ex // dotco for $150 via Efty landing page.
Bought for $2.88 promo few months back.

Buyer was very persistent to not move a bit from his first offer he made several weeks ago, in fact when I agreed to his offer he lowered his offer to $100. After several emails he agreed to $150 but did not pay for long time.
I gave him 24 hours ultimatum to pay threatening of doubling my price and send two reminders after 12 hours each. Then he paid. :D

I know buyer win here as he got super low price. But I had no sales in March and April so I pushed a lot. This is second .co sale in May first week hopefully couple more coming with in a week.
Sold 3rd .co domain in May.

Rah/rah//dotco for $200.
Bought for $1, 10 months ago in promo.
Buyer contacted through Efty lander with $200 offer, but did not move from her offer. In fact she was not sure that she wanted the domain or not. So I accepted her offer, but then it took several reminders to get her pay.

I hold 1200+ .co domain (apart from main portfolio of domains)

Had a bad April, as three different buyers backed out after agreement reached and did not pay. The sales were worth $2000, $1888 and $1500 (all dotcoms) So I ended up zero sales, so I took low dime offers seriously to pay the bills and converted three of the low dime offers into sales in May ($200, $150, $200, all .co domains with $1 or $2 purchase price)

I finally completed listing my domains on Afternic. So hopeful of better sales in coming months.

Congrats! Why a buyer did not buy .COM instead NET for this price?

Thank you!

May be because their main site is also using .net (lgfl.net) so they were more inclined to buy .net
lgfl.com is also for sale but looks like their budget isn't that high to acquire .com similar to ngfl.com
