Can I pay through Escrow.com without verifiyng my account?

You can translate the proof of address to English through a verified translator by the embassies at your location. I guess it should work.

Yea... I didn't have any problems anywhere else with verification. only on Escrow.com. I'm not going to do that as this is too much work & time. I'll just try getting the seller to use a different escrow company/ just give up on the deal.

Yes you can pay with paypal if it's under $5000 but i think you need to verify anyway

It is also possible to settle with a crypto, e.g. BTC.

I think one of the reasons why Escrow.com has to do this is because they are not actually a registrar which means they have an additional counter-party risk to deal with when it comes to verifying domain ownership.

As a side note, the verification step also may slow down the escrow clock-cycle which probably increases dwell time for deposited funds.

All that said, escrow fraud is a problem in the industry. If the margins are really low, one bad transaction can wipe out a lot of margin from other transactions.
