Just wondering what the general thoughts are about whether the recent trend to legalize marijuana will boost the prices of pot-related domains?

Too early to sell yet.

I've declined multiple solid $x,xxx offers for CBN OIL in 2019, and a couple big companies have expressed interest recently. Of course, this may be the best CBN name. I'm planning to hold for some years still (I've already owned it for ~4 years or so).

CBN is just recently starting to take off. There's still a lot of research to be done, but IF certain scientists are to be believed, it is showing a lot of potential.

According to these researchears, "THC and CBN can stop the growth of lung cancer cells in mice, and thus offer the promise of becoming new anti-lung-cancer agents in humans." (Interestingly enough, CBD didn't make the cut in their clinical trials.)

"Even though it is too early to claim that cannabis can cure cancer, this promising research result will be developed further through a phase of clinical trials in humans. We hope that we will find an effective treatment for lung cancer in the near future."

Of course this is according to one group of researchers- so take it with a grain of salt.
One of the things that I been doing since I got involved in this niche (ever expanding niche) is checking keyword searches..

https://www.google.ca/search?source.......1.......8..41j0i131j46i131j46.kC38A4VD8mQ

Been noticing that the established "big players" websites (Leafly/High Times/etc)
have pages regarding these cannabinoids (questions/facts/etc).

Note, I sure am not recommending that anyone spend their last dollars on registering a whole bunch of CBG/CBN/lesser known cannabinoids and hope for a fast turnover/flip..I am always budget minded...

I have 1500 Canna, Leaf, Cbd, Hemp, Cannabis, mmj, mj, Herb too sell first.

Sitting out; mushrooms, cbn, cbg.

I'm looking at selling in the next few years, not another 5.

A 10 year hold is uninteresting. Sure this is a hot new market? But their comes a point.

I picked up a couple more CBN + Keywords this morning, for me it's worth a punt to see how it develops over the next few years. If it works out great, if not it is affordable so all good......Don't mind waiting.

That's one name, arguably the best CBN name on the market. I could have already sold it for an excellent profit if I wanted to, on several occasions. But I have way less than $100 into it, so why would I sell just as things are starting to heat up?

"10 years" is not at all indicative of my overall strategy. I registered 99% of my CBN, CBG, etc, names just this year. I'm less than 6 months in on this vast majority.

@cbd
You like CBN and CBG better than CBC?
Anyone else have an opinion on which cannabinoid will have the most medical benefit behind CBD and THC.
I went CBC but now, years later, I’m not so sure it was the best choice. I think CBC had the best keywords still available was what swayed my choice.

I went CBC.
Just looked and I have 3 of these -
CBGfood com
CBGmed com
CBGoil org

These to me are a waste. The train has left the station and CBD is far and away the go to.

Sold Cannapost $2500

Until I see more research, I think it's a bit of a toss-up as to which is "best". Personally, I put those three on a similar level, and I have many CBC names along with CBG and CBN.

I'd happily pay your registration costs on the middle one if you really think it's a waste and want to cash out...

Research is irrelevant. CBD is in the minds of the world now and there are endless sites devoted to selling CBD products. You can’t reverse that.

I’d say all the best if you want to invest in CB n g t z or whatever. The industry is going mainstream and CBD is quickly becoming the poster child for medicinal purposes.

No doubting CBD is the mecca. It's the .com of Cannabinoids, while the others are net, org, etc. However, that doesn't mean other Cannabinoids will be useless. There will be plenty of entities wanting to exploit the others at some point, and likely in the not too distant future.

My guess is CBN and or CBG...further down the trough will be CBC. Just depends on the type of benefits any of these may possess, and what they can be marketed for, once those benefits have some sort of viable backing, or clinical evidence, imo.

To each his own! (y) I don't sell to domainers, so if 90% of y'all stay on the sidelines I'm all good with that!

My personal bet is that as people learn more about other cannabinoids, they will seek out specific ones for specific purposes. (And in my experience, that's already starting to happen.) CBN does things that CBD doesn't, and so on. Perhaps CBD and THC together have 99% share of the market today - but as I see it, that number is decreasing weekly, and it's hard to guess where things will stand 1 or 2 years from now.

Of course, only time will tell! For me, it's a very small gamble. I'm not betting the house and I wouldn't recommend anyone else does either.

Hi guys just wanna say that I am starting to receive offers and my cannabis domains are getting the most visits/offers.

Some of my names that are getting interest growbureau cultivana and dietseeds (although I also have the singular version but it seems the plural is more favourable).

Still holding though.

Probably should get the ‘captain’ version too, to avoid misspell confusion.

Edit: Never mind, the captain version has been regged since '99.

Heard a couple rooks thought my above post was a personal slam against someone here. It wasn't!! Certainly wasn't a slam against any domainer, or the other cannabinoids.

What I meant by entities exloiting, is big business, gov't, medical corporations, etc. Not saying there is anything necessarily wrong with that. All of this tunnel vision and added press seems to be spilling over to the other cannabinoids, as some companies try to mimic the success of cbd. This can be a good thing, and will hopefully result in eventual sales for cbn, cbg, cbc, etc.

Time will tell. Either way, gl to us all.

Seems someone has a sweet tooth...anyone watching the candies auction? Over 2k with just a few hours remaining. Should be fun to watch close, and interesting to see how it's used moving forward, assuming it's end-user and not reseller, imo.
