Tend to make constant use of patriotic mottos, slogans, symbols, songs, and other paraphernalia.

Because of fear of enemies and the need for security, the people are persuaded that human rights can be ignored in certain cases because of "need." The people tend to look the other way or even approve of torture, summary executions, assassinations, long incarcerations of prisoners, etc.

The people are rallied into a unifying patriotic frenzy over the need to eliminate a perceived common threat or foe: racial, ethnic or religious minorities; liberals; communists; socialists, terrorists, etc.

Even when there are widespread domestic problems, the military is given a disproportionate amount of government funding, and the domestic agenda is neglected. Soldiers and military service are glamorized.

The government tends to be almost exclusively male-dominated. Traditional gender roles are made more rigid. Opposition to abortion is high, as is homophobia and anti-gay legislation and national policy.

Sometimes the media is directly controlled by the government, but in other cases, the media is indirectly controlled by government regulation, or sympathetic media spokespeople and executives.

Fear is used as a motivational tool by the government over the masses.

Government tends to use the most common religion in the nation as a tool to manipulate public opinion.

The industrial and business aristocracy often are the ones who put the government leaders into power, creating a mutually beneficial business/government relationship and power elite.

Because the organizing power of labor is the only real threat, labor unions are either eliminated entirely, or are severely suppressed.

Tend to promote and tolerate open hostility to higher education and academia.

The police are given almost limitless power to enforce laws.

Almost always governed by groups of friends and associates who appoint each other to government positions and use governmental power and authority to protect their friends from accountability.

Sometimes elections are a complete sham. Other times elections are manipulated by smear campaigns against or even assassination of opposition candidates, use of legislation to control voting numbers or political district boundaries, and manipulation of the media.

I have evidence that Social Media giants are out to destroy Democrats. They want to keep Trump in power because he's a ratings machine:

Joe Biden cancels campaign event due to illness 'under doctor's orders' Biden was listed as the keynote speaker at the 2018 Illinois State Fair Democrat Day.
ABC News
May 18, 2019

They put the day as today, May 18, 2019. When you click the article, it's actually from August of last year. They're trying to make it seem like Biden is sick, going to fall over. It's all about the $$$$, ratings.

Biden with a nice rally today in Pennsylvania. It's nice seeing a future first lady that can actually speak the language.

I wonder why abortionist refuse to see the baby being killed as a person. That is what the next supreme court case will be about. Person-hood.

Potential person. Once it’s out and breathing and no longer dependent on the “host body”, it’s a person. And the government is mandating the use of someone’s uterus (and entire body) to incubate and grow it without their consent.

The government mandate of a persons reproductive choices is a slippery slope. This country already has a sordid history of eugenics, like forced sterilization. Not a road we should go back down.

Glad you’d give Nancy a kidney though. Once it’s in her body, totally her choice what she does with it.

'''Just consider for a moment the incredible cost of pregnancy and birth. Your body physically changes in dozens of ways. You probably experience nausea, dizziness, swelling, back pain, constipation, mood swings. You have to change what you eat, what you drink, how you move, what you do. You may be unable to work or go to school. You may be let go for spurious reasons. You may find it difficult to find people to hire you. You will need ultrasounds, checkups -- health insurance. You will go through the most physically painful experience of your life, where in 70% of cases the baby literally tears its way out of you. You will owe the hospital thousands, if not tens of thousands, of dollars. Your body will physically never be the same.
Now imagine you never chose this. You never wanted this. But you have no choice.
How can someone end up pregnant and not want to be? There are a myriad of scenarios, all with moral implications. Maybe you have a steady partner and you are using birth control, but the birth control didn't work. Maybe the condom broke. You didn't intend it, but here you are.
And then worse. Maybe he lied and took off the condom when you wouldn't notice. Maybe he drugged you and raped your unconscious body, or maybe he raped you while you were awake, so the sounds and the pain and the smell is seared into your brain. Maybe he is your teacher, your pastor, your police officer. Maybe he is your brother, your uncle. Maybe he is your father. And now the seed, the DNA of the person who violated you, is growing inside you, and there is nothing you can do to stop it.
So you give birth, unprepared and unwilling. Because you didn't want or plan for this pregnancy, chances are you didn't take care of yourself as well as is ideal, and chances are you are not providing an ideal life for this child. Maybe you drank alcohol before you knew you were pregnant. Maybe you smoked. Maybe you are addicted to opiates and now your child will be too. Maybe you are poor -- the cost of childbirth didn't help -- and have no means to buy food, diapers, cribs, or other supplies for your baby. Maybe you are a felon or are otherwise ineligible for SNAP or WIC. Maybe your partner beats you and will hurt your child, but you can't leave because then you would be homeless. Maybe you are homeless. Maybe your partner left you. How will you get a job? Who will take care of the baby? If you are in school, you almost certainly have to drop out. The effects of neglect, of abuse, of malnourishment, of fetal alcohol syndrome, of neonatal abstinence syndrome, all of these have profoundly negative effects on the child for the rest of their lives.
It is understandable why some pregnant women become desperate, and what a desperate person can do can be horrifying for everyone involved.'''

And that’s if you don’t have complications.
  • Gestational hypertension (high blood pressure caused by the pregnancy)
  • Gestational diabetes (diabetes caused by the pregnancy)
  • Preeclampsia
  • Infections
  • Blood clots
  • Placental abnormalities, like the placenta separates from the uterus
  • Ectopic pregnancy (fetus can’t survive, sometimes the mother doesnt either)
  • Hernia
  • And other “fun” stuff!

I believe this is the first GOP Congressman with these views.

GOP Rep. Justin Amash says Trump "engaged in impeachable conduct"

Rep. Justin Amash (R-Mich.) came out against President Trump and Attorney General Bill Barr's presentation of the Mueller report, saying Trump "has engaged in impeachable conduct," on Saturday afternoon.

Justin Amash @justinamash
Here are my principal conclusions:
1. Attorney General Barr has deliberately misrepresented Mueller’s report.
2. President Trump has engaged in impeachable conduct.
3. Partisanship has eroded our system of checks and balances.
4. Few members of Congress have read the report.

Republican Congressman Jusitin Amash just spoke up in favor of impeachment. He makes a good argument.

It’s a disgrace indeed of few members of Congress have actually read the report. It’s their job. I’ve read about half of it and it’s not my job.

Just for fun, I rephrased your post NameLlama. It was interesting how few changes needed to be made for it to fit the left. Mostly changes in specific targets rather than methods. Much of it needed no changing at all.

Tend to make constant use of empty virtue signalling mottos, slogans, symbols, songs, and other paraphernalia.

Because of fear of enemies and the need for security, the people are persuaded that human rights can be ignored in certain cases because of "need." Soldiers and military service are glamorized. Check. Gotta hold back Russia. Interesting the Enlytend stopped talking to me after I questioned her frequent use of words like "hero, patriot and traitor" as well as her love of secretive spy agencies.

The government tends to be almost exclusively male-dominated. Check. Traditional gender roles are eliminated... and the very concept of gender is eliminated to sow confusion among the populace so that they will accept future crazy ideas. Opposition to unborn children's rights is high, as is general bigotry and anti-freedom legislation and national policy.

This guy is the antithesis of everything you and JB claim to believe in. And yet, when he says one thing you like, he is suddenly an authority worth quoting? I am sure that Hitler said one or two things in his many ramblings that some Jews might have agreed with - but they had the integrity not to quote him. Imagine the conversation at Dachau...."That Hitler guy sure makes a good argument for vegetarianism, I'll give him that."

This guy is the antithesis of everything you and JB claim to believe in**.

You probably didn't actually read his tweets. I'm always for anything that makes sense, regardless of where it comes from. His tweets on the subject, I couldn't find anything I disagree with. If you want to talk about the antithesis of what people believe in, I would point to Trump supporters here. Claim to believe in the Constitution, rule of law etc. and Trump and Co. have done nothing but thumb their noses up at it.

**The bold above. You just unknowingly admitted that you read my posts again, after constantly lying that you don't.

Just let me post his tweets here. To me, these are well thought out points, again, I'm not seeing anything I disagree with. For Trump supporters, quote the part you have an issue with.

Read it from the bottom up tho.

I offer these conclusions only after having read Mueller’s redacted report carefully and completely, having read or watched pertinent statements and testimony, and having discussed this matter with my staff, who thoroughly reviewed materials and provided me with further analysis.

In comparing Barr’s principal conclusions, congressional testimony, and other statements to Mueller’s report, it is clear that Barr intended to mislead the public about Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s analysis and findings.

Barr’s misrepresentations are significant but often subtle, frequently taking the form of sleight-of-hand qualifications or logical fallacies, which he hopes people will not notice.

Under our Constitution, the president “shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.” While “high Crimes and Misdemeanors” is not defined, the context implies conduct that violates the public trust.

Contrary to Barr’s portrayal, Mueller’s report reveals that President Trump engaged in specific actions and a pattern of behavior that meet the threshold for impeachment.

In fact, Mueller’s report identifies multiple examples of conduct satisfying all the elements of obstruction of justice, and undoubtedly any person who is not the president of the United States would be indicted based on such evidence.

Impeachment, which is a special form of indictment, does not even require probable cause that a crime (e.g., obstruction of justice) has been committed; it simply requires a finding that an official has engaged in careless, abusive, corrupt, or otherwise dishonorable conduct.

While impeachment should be undertaken only in extraordinary circumstances, the risk we face in an environment of extreme partisanship is not that Congress will employ it as a remedy too often but rather that Congress will employ it so rarely that it cannot deter misconduct.

Our system of checks and balances relies on each branch’s jealously guarding its powers and upholding its duties under our Constitution. When loyalty to a political party or to an individual trumps loyalty to the Constitution, the Rule of Law—the foundation of liberty—crumbles.

We’ve witnessed members of Congress from both parties shift their views 180 degrees—on the importance of character, on the principles of obstruction of justice—depending on whether they’re discussing Bill Clinton or Donald Trump.

Few members of Congress even read Mueller’s report; their minds were made up based on partisan affiliation—and it showed, with representatives and senators from both parties issuing definitive statements on the 448-page report’s conclusions within just hours of its release.

America’s institutions depend on officials to uphold both the rules and spirit of our constitutional system even when to do so is personally inconvenient or yields a politically unfavorable outcome. Our Constitution is brilliant and awesome; it deserves a government to match it.

Unlike some here, I can agree with a person on some things and disagree with them on others. Why does that surprise you?

The current “tribal” nonsense, where if you disagree with someone on one issue you automatically dismiss anything they have to say on any subject, is childish and self defeating. IMO.

What he said in those tweets was right on point, and I’m glad a republican finally had the guts to mention the dirty elephant in the room.

Muslim rioters ATTACK Tommy Robinson voters with bottles, bricks in Oldham | Jessica Swietoniowski

And then there's the MSM reporting the story (below) by starting off with a very misleading headline. Anyone that's unbiased can easily see how biased the Daily Mail have painted this incident, as can easily be seen in the comment section... People can clearly see the truth, except for the Liberal journalists of course...

Violence breaks out at Tommy Robinson campaign event as masked supporters clash with crowds shouting 'racist scum', bricks are thrown and police cars are damaged in Oldham
  • Footage posted to Twitter shows violence between Tommy Robinson supporters and counter-demonstrators
  • Both sides of the demonstration reported to have thrown objects at each other including bricks and bottles
  • Two police vehicles were damaged after a disturbance broke out at the event in the Limeside, Oldham area
  • Reports circulating that someone had been stabbed after a road was sectioned off have been verified as false
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...-supporters-clash-crowds-Oldham.html#comments

13664076-7044883-Clashes_between_supporters_of_the_campaigner_whose_real_name_is_-a-74_1558208824326.jpg

The ONLY violence and throwing of bricks came from the angry Muslim crowd, many of whom wore masks, that wanted to stop Tommy Robinson from speaking... There is video footage that proves it...

I think rationalization needs to take place in Alabama concerning abortion laws, It is a good thing that they allow the morning after pill, but the current law is somewhat a one size fits all law, which can't be the case, I think many revisions based on circustance need to be considered into the current law with time frames. Just my 0.2 and opinion.

God gives us free will in making choices throughout our life, we have to answer and accept the consequences of our choices. I myself can not judge anyone directly, I have enough to be judged for myself, although i do pray for those in need, I can not judge anyone but own self as a sinner.

I desire a better US and world just as most do, a better world for the children once i am dead and gone, I see much resistance in people making this happen, a very divided world, a very divided US which i do think will resolve and only become more divided, I see an abundance of Homeless problem occuring in the US, I do not believe this will get better but only worse, and no one, news media and ect are talking about this problem. I see violence throughout the world esculating by the week throught out the world, with the US having a huge gun violence in the streets, I feel people in US do not like each other and this will continue to esculate, I see the clouds looking really weird at times, Chem trailing in the skys, very strange and unusual weather patterns throughout the world, i see the sun itself is not normal in color, it has a grey hue to it. which is not the sun i grew up with.

I see all these things with own two eyes, Although some of these things are spoken about through media outlets, most aren't , I feel no need to fight things i can do nothing about, as the division of the world and the US will keep these events going with only more conflict amoungst countries and societies in general.
