Probably some you have seen this information but I haven't seen it till today.

Someone purchased Flowers.mobi for $200,000 and later sold it for $6,500 ???

If this happens to ordinary Domainer, heaven will not forgive the person.

I have to say, u made a good decision to sell to them at 5k back to that time, seriously, I think if this domain put into auction today in NP, I doubt it will fetch $650 at the end..personally, I think I will just avoid any .mobi no matter how cheap it is...
I doubt it will even get a bid here on Namepros

I remember when the .mobi mania hit...reminded me of the Dutch "tulip frenzy" which crashed in 1637 (I wasn't alive then but I know some history.)

Funny, but Flowers.mobi does not cost $200k, even $20k.

... ah yes the tulip bulb crash, I am older even than most of you think and remember it well :xf.confused: back in 1637! It crashed in essentially one month (February), a single tulip bulb went from value of 380 tons of butter to, well, nothing! Read more here. The decline of the .mobi bubble is nothing by comparison! Still, that is why I invest in cheap domains - not far to fall! :-P

If somebody would have been so sure than he can get 200k for it, I'm sure that the ex owner would have received higher offers than 10k in the 5 years or so. Also, a .club was sold recently for 500k after being acquired for 19k, so everything it's possible today for lot's of tlds.....what will happen in 5 years, nobody can be sure, neither for .com or ngtld, that's why domaining it's more speculation and instinct than a science.
which is the club domain can you tell

Sometimes its very hard to believe that some domains actually sold for something big like flowers.mobi really not so deserving for even $500 until & unless the buyer has good plan for this name and that is different case but personally it is not deserving name. And no one predict same will happen with other new tld's in future.

As per my view, In this highly demanded industry the only extension will survive who have big future plan for normal user instead of investors or traders. Because technically if you research then only professional people like (Domain trader or anyone who understand this industry) only believes in New Tld's or will probably invest in just as prediction that it might go well in future for better ROI. But normal public actually not aware (most off) of any New TLD's except .com. They believe that internet is all about .com. So i mean to say if any TLD's do their best to convinced normal people to use their extension for their business & service for better growth instead of convincing traders will only survive.

First of all you don't buy a bouquet of "flower" you buy a bouquet of "flowers".
Secondly a "choice" of "flower" is flower(s).
Simple preschool knowledge.
Sorry to call you out on grammar but it is what it is.
