Compare Efty and Bodis

Efty is not free but it is cheap. It is essentialy for good landing pages and negotiation. Sales need to be finalized using another service. It has tracking.

Bodis mostly for parking. Free ? It must have some tracking. Has its own marketplace? Has its own Escrow?

I don't have familiarity with either. But I will test Bodis for parking. I may test Efty as well. I may also test Afternic fast transfer. Sedo is ok, but most domains don't sell although they should, maybe because of poor landing page, or that most people use Godaddy. Also considering undeveloped.com . Too much time needed to manage. Still not started outbounding seriously. Domaining still not worth the effort despite some 4 fig sales.

I think that efty and bodis are completely different animals. You should be using all the marketplaces that let you list for “free”, even though they charge hefty commission fees. In my experience, Afternic had the best results (likely due to being part of GoDaddy).

But, in addition to that, you should have a marketplace you wholly control and the leads go to you directly.

If you want to compare oranges to oranges, you should compare efty to domain market pro.

This may not mean that domaining is not worth the effort. Maybe it means you need to make adjustments to your investment strategy. All successful businesses had to adjust before they became successful.

There's no reason to compare Bodis and Efty, they are not doing the same thing. Bodis has no marketplace, it's only for parking with inquiry form. However, Bodis are the owners of NamePros.com.

It's odd to me that they rarely promote their business here. Am I missing something? Has Bodis relinquished the ownership of this Forum?

Agreed you should list your names in all marketplaces better chance for a sale.
bodis is parking efty is a domainer marketplace service...
