I just transferred money from PayPal to my bank account.
There's a new option. Transfer to debit card.
You pay 1% fee. The transfer is instant.
You withdraw $1000, you pay a $10 fee, no more 3 to 5 business days wait.
Game changer for using PayPal to get paid.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Also PayPal app lets you withdraw $500 a day cash in Walmart for $3 fee (instant as well)

Transfer to bank free (1 day in my experience)

Transfer to bank is free yes. They say 3 to 5 business days.
It depends on your bank.
I also get 1 day sometimes, sometimes 2 or 3.
This is instant!

In Ireland I don't know about an instant pay, but the transfer from paypal to the bank it takes 4-5 hours, if the transfer is done early in the morning, so pretty fast.

Also I’ve had the PayPal card and that’s instant and has been for many many years - taken money via ATM many times with it.

@jamesosix it says ''a couple minutes''. I checked after 2 minutes it was there. Is '' a couple minutes'' what you mean by fairly instant, or a couple hours like in @boker 's Ireland.
@wizard @maxtra are you in North America?

When has an ATM/Debit card not been instant?

You put it in there and come back the next day to withdraw the cash?:woot:

Exactly... this isn't new and now OP will know all the methods including the debit card (instant cash)

Simple as that.

I think he meant a bank account which has a debit card attached, so you transfer the cash from paypal to bank account and use the debit card to withdraw. I know that paypal has a personalized debit card available in some countries, so probably that's the one with instant withdrawal.

I have always been able to withdraw $100 cash during every transaction at Walmart and grocery stores using my Paypal business debit card without ever paying any fees.

Your PayPal atm debit card always has worked to withdraw the funds from your PayPal instantly. Creataweb mentioned this.

However there is sometimes a withdrawal fee from either the atm machine itself or from PayPal depending on where you use the card.

As an atm debit MasterCard card it may also be used for debit or credit purchases.

In any case using this card results in instant withdrawal from your PayPal balance.

What I found out today is you can instantly transfer $10,000 from PayPal to your bank account.
And you only pay $100, for $10.000.

Have you had that option for ever?
Specifically, the 1% fee.
?

That's been the topic of your thread, no? But also, yes, paying to get an instant transfer - it's been available for some time.

However, PP regular free (ACH) transfers are pretty fast these days anyway, one business day.

When withdrawing money from PP to a debit card or Bank account (the debit card is from the bank account in question, so not sure if that matters) but its fairly instant - like max I have seen it is like an hour or two tops.

Paypal is good but I think companies like Payoneer and Transferwise are knocking its door. I wonder why they dont expand the receiving countries. Many countries are in only sending.

I ordered a standard (no fee) ACH transfer yesterday morning, not even very early in the morning either, and the PayPal funds (about a thousand dollars) were in my bank account by the end of the day. Lately these free PP to bank account transfers take at most one business day (i.e. in the bank by the next business day).

So there’s not even necessarily much if any of an advantage at least where I am, in the U.S., to paying for these instant transfers - even the non instant standard ones might arrive same day.
