Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Spaceship Spaceship
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

Received a $3k offer for my VRGuru dot king a week ago, countered but no response...ohh well, their lose.

Not sure what you are looking for, but i would have took that personally.

But guess it depends on what you paid for the domain yourself.

Smart move, be patient with this one, its a great name and will sell. Guru is a powerful word to end-users. I had quite a few offers on CloudGuru years ago and just waited, it eventually paid off. This could go for low xx,xxx in few years.

Oculus Quest Hit #1 Selling Video Games Product On Amazon

Preorders of the Oculus Quest VR headset on Amazon briefly hit the #1 top seller in the Video Games category this week. No VR headset has hit this position on Amazon except for the PlayStation VR.

Great sales for the sellers. Although, given the popularity of present day crypto currencies, it's surprising to see Virtual Cash sold so low. Last reported sale was 10k in 2008, just ahead of bitcoin creation.

VRfetish...$3000! Sedo...Namebio. Now we’re talking. I think all VR names just went up a notch. Most all of the pro global domainers like Rick, Andrew...etc, still don’t take VR domains seriously. This sale will help. Virtual Reality is starting to hit main stream with so many new products hitting this month. VR will be used in almost every sector.

Yeah I know, I approached them as they owned the hyphenated version.

I used LinkedIn all the time for outbound, I started a LinkedIn page for my VRContent.com and put up a small news site and the LinkedIn page now has almost 30,000 followers, mainly VR individuals and companies. I have started doing social media advertising and marketing for companies now who want some exposure for products, services, expos, events etc, in particular for VR startups. Also started doing it for drones, robotics, blockchain and a few other industries now to try and expand it a bit.

There are heaps of VR/AR group but I find the good groups are the emerging tech and tech startups groups as well, there are 100's of them

LinkedIn is a business network so it will have all the end-users you want.

Yes I noticed. Hoping with time my portfolio gets some serious looks. The King did connect with me, but I'm sure he didn't take a look at what I have. Do you have a lot of folks that want to connect with you? How do you decide which to accept and decline?

Yeah, it seems the more contacts you have, the more people want to connect. I share a lot of info from other top VR LinkedIn pages/people so people just love reading VR news and then connect with you. 30,000 in about 3 years. I accept mainly the people who are involved in the industries I am targeting (VR, AR, Holo, drones, robotics, blockchain, crypto etc)

Another VR + Word evaluation hit my desk today. For those interested in some of the findings, here you go.
Asset Type:
2-Letter-Acronym + Dictionary-Word
Note: This is good news! It means that "VR" is versatile. There are 86 acronyms you could target for different kinds of night classes and you aren't stuck or isolated in the virtual reality market.
Note: Could they possibly be interested in the asset? That vr ******* layout image is only one of thousands of different layout possibilities. Your asset could possibly be a site development for all VR ******* (layouts). Each VR ******* designer is a potential end user for your asset and already have interest in the term (E.g. They make VR ******* Layouts).
Note: The data is consistent for this VR + 6-Letter word combination, that's good news. It gives us an idea.
Opinion:
I think yours has some technical potential. It might be the #1 place to go to find the best ways to connect, interact, and layout your home or office VR area.

The hard part is identifying the potential end-user, gathering more research on their specific niche, formulating a presentation, negotiating, and closing.

Your asset does have a little reseller liquidity in today's market, however, you will still have to do a lot of leg-work to find the right buyer and apply the hard parts I also mentioned above, which in most cases, investors fail at.

It's very exciting to see how much VR is growing right now. I believe the portability of the Oculus Quest will have a huge impact on the growth of VR. The fact that you don't need a PC to have a great experience in VR is fantastic.

Does it really matter what other domain investors are buying? It's all about what the end users are buying.
