I can see a number of these getting picked up - there a few others I'm surprised they accepted the high reserve and can't see selling because of it. What do you think?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
And it was... POOL with the TBR hole-in-one.

Doing some research on LLL..surprised to find a few (like SEX) are undeveloped.

SEX use to be owned by Jason Chapnik. Not sure if he still owns it or not. For those who don’t know, he’s the .TV dude.

The .CA To Be Released / TBR Results & Leftovers for May 1, 2019 are now online.

This week’s .CA TBR list contained just over 10,000 names (the sixth straight week of more than 9K), and although the single-word quality was certainly present and accounted for, there was a total dearth of premium 3-letter domains that dragged things down a bit. Some of the top selections this week included... and overall, 6 of our Top Picks went in the Top 8 TBR selections – not bad.

See Who Hit the TBR Hole-in-One!

Holy crap, it looks like someone just dumped a big pile of junk LLLs on the TBR, apparently from a Namecheap sale.

More J's, Q's, X's and Z's than a bowl of alphabet soup.

My hometown is Kitchener Ontario and the region is called Region of Waterloo

Everyone calls it Kitchener-Waterloo though because they are twin cities.

Whatever was not reserved by cira in .ca was bought up by Metroland Media.

It's taken me quit a while but I am now the owner of...

kitchener.com
waterloo.com
kitchener-waterloo.com
waterloo-region.ca
waterloo-region.com

Not a big fan of the region hyphenated but I'll take what I can get.

The .ca ones are almost impossible to get because every city name is reserved.

waterloo.com has a $561,000 estibot value so I'm pretty proud of that acquisition.

I picked up waterloo-region.ca because there is talk of amalgamation of a number of cities and the region is currently called The Region of Waterloo.

Insiders are saying Waterloo Region is the number one proposed new name and waterloo region .ca and com is owned by two different owners. I figured a hyphen might be worthwhile to own in this case especially because I can get the .ca.

It will take a few days for all the servers to point to MapleDots but its all in progress.

I'm currently working on another big city name so I'll keep you guys posted.

Great job and those 2 city .COMs are pretty sweet.

Why would CBN.ca be a "restricted" name?

Anyone know why trident.ca has usage restrictions and can't be registered?

Guys how is 4RENTALS.CA?

In theory it's a pretty decent domain.
I have owned 4sex(dot)ca for many years and every year I ask myself if I'm going to renew it.

HeHe.... it will either cause a feeding frenzy at TBR or fizzle into nothing.

Welcome to the waiting game

It's not reserved, it's already allocated at the provincial level:

http://cbn.on.ca/
Thanks...was wondering why it wasn't open to registration and nothing in my address bar (when I first seen that, ran in namespro..thought it was parked and or not developed)..

Have a feeling CBN going to be a big keyword (THC/CBD niche) ...

Wow, it's Sunday and the list is already over 10K.

Too bad the quality doesn't match the quantity, and all the LLLs seem to be recently registered-then-dropped junkers and I can't see any that are even remotely premium.

Are there restrictions on some military terms possibly? Or can the TM owner on the candy limit it?

Wow! Were they long term and grandfathered in on using the on at third level? I should sometime carefully read this entire huge .ca thread, as I tend to come in and out of it. Thanks for the links.

No problem, and what sucks about this one is that because there are multiple registrants, no company can claim the base .CA... unless one of them goes out of business. :xf.grin:
