The new weekly domain sales report is out at DNJournal.com. A six-figure sale from Sedo took the top spot on our latest all extension Top 20 Sales Chart. That was the 17th six-figure (or higher) sale reported so far this year. We also saw the biggest non .com gTLD sale of 2019 - by far. That sale more than doubled the price paid for the previous leader in this category two months ago. The non .com gTLDs had a good week overall, putting five names on the leader board and ten on the YTD Top 100 Chart for that group. The ccTLDs also scored with a pair of entries but the .coms still enjoyed their usual dominance, taking 13 of 20 chart positions. You can get all of the details here: https://www.dnjournal.com/archive/domainsales/2019/20190501.htm

One other note – based on new information we have retracted the reported sale price of XA.com from the previous week (details on that are also in this week’s report).

Question is: Are these Sedo sales anonymous? Or sellers alreay know buyers' emails and IPs , and Sedo is just Escrow after negotion done elsewhere such as Efty?

Business(club) has lots of possible uses - will be interesting to see when it directs who the end user is. IMO the $60,936 while certainly not low is also not an unreasonably high price for the combination.

Note that this DNJournal also has retraction of the previously announced sale of XA(com). Apparently questions re the price stated, not the actual sale itself.

A couple of 3 letter .app sales at $7500 each to Chinese end users. Seems clear that .app is doing well in Asia. With premium renewal times close, will probably see more sales in next little while as owners move a bit on prices, possibly.

A lot of different country code extensions had nice sales in this report.

.App has been picking up a bit lately.

I could be wrong, and hope that someone who knows for sure will post, but my understanding is Sedo report sales from their platform (but not when they are just escrow) when sale is $2000 or more. However if either seller or buyer purchase privacy on sale even those are not reported.
