This thread is a central location to report domain name sales of any dollar amount.

As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

  • Tip: Use the Like/Thanks feature instead.

Questions are allowed, but do not post commentary. If you want to discuss or comment on a sale in this thread, quote it and then post it in the following thread instead:

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
This one was a nice surprise because I don't sell many .orgs. Even less recent .org hand regges.

Domain: T / H / E / O / T / H / E / R / S / . / O / R / G
Sales Price: $1,299
Sales Platform: Afternic Fast Transfer
Hand Registered: 9/24/2018
Sale Date: 4/30/2019
Hold Time: 6.5 mo.
Cost: $7.99

About 6 months ago I tried an experiment on a batch of names. I made the bin prices just above the GD appraisal. It's been working for some reason.

Here's where I posted it in the Reg Of The Day..
https://www.namepros.com/posts/6908884/

Funny thing is, I checked the whois and it's a substantial business that bought it.

Sold BluEye (dot)co for $200 after long negotation.

I had almost 2 months of no sale and only broken deals and non paying buyers, so had to take whatever offers comes in. Couple more .co sales coming soon.

Bought for $1 last month, I have 1000+ .co domains registered at different times in last 1 year for $1 $2 or $3. Average price $2.
Sold Fit // ex // dotco for $150 via Efty landing page.
Bought for $2.88 promo few months back.

Buyer was very persistent to not move a bit from his first offer he made several weeks ago, in fact when I agreed to his offer he lowered his offer to $100. After several emails he agreed to $150 but did not pay for long time.
I gave him 24 hours ultimatum to pay threatening of doubling my price and send two reminders after 12 hours each. Then he paid. :D

I know buyer win here as he got super low price. But I had no sales in March and April so I pushed a lot. This is second .co sale in May first week hopefully couple more coming with in a week.

Sold AstralFreight((com)) for $200 through Undeveloped Make Offer.

Bought for $17 on GD Expired Auctions on 16.10.18.

I forgot that this domain even existed, I won the auction and didn't list it anywhere and I only have 34 domains ( How do you handle hundreds and thousands of domains?? )

I went through my domains 3 days ago and found it, listed it everywhere and sent an email to a company that might be interested in the domain.

Yesterday I received an offer of $100. asked for $550. we agreed on $200 after the buyer said that his father forgot to renew it and it's a domain of a struggling small company of his, and politely asked me to sell him for a reasonable price. so I agreed.

Later I found out I can check the buyer's IP through Undeveloped and found out he lives at the same place as the said company.

If I knew for 100% it was the said company I would've stick to $550. I really hope what the buyer said was real and it's not it.

Anyway, great ROI for a domain I forgot about.
and it's the 4th sale of mine in the past 1.5months. Relatively new to domaining ( 8 months )

Sold Decentralized/Exchange/io for $300
Marketplace: GD Auctions
Handreg: 11/3/2018

This is my 2nd sale on GD Auction. Only interesting thing about this sale is that I had let the domain drop and the sale came out of nowhere. It was already past 45 days after expiration, so after doing some math and consulting with a few guys here that I usually run to whenever I have a question I decided to redeem it and complete the sale. Lessened the ROI but still profitable. I have a feeling it was snapped up by a fellow domainer.
I regged this back in 2018 just a few months after I started domaining for $48. (Didn't know there are cheaper registrars then  ).
