This issue has happened 3 days in a row. Buy a closeout domain, add it to the shopping cart, and hit the Continue to Cart button. Then, the following error message appears.

====
Let's try that again.
Sorry, something happened on our end and we weren't able to add that domain to your cart. Please try again in a minute or two.
====

Called the support today. The guy checked with their technical team and still could not figure out the problem. Last two days at least they were able to complete the transaction manually for me, but today they had no luck. He asked me to call back again.

Anyone experiencing this issue? Maybe it has to do with Closeout domains.

Yes I faced this issue....

No it is not only limited to closeout auction sales...

I usually search availability of a name in godaddy and add it to cart...

After sometime will proceed to checkout...this sometime is days /weeks /months...so I get this message once in a while....

And I have to log in again to get back to my domains in cart...coupl c of times all domains were gone (not in cart) and have to start fresh...

I am not sure but this seems to be related to log in...or long account inactive period..

As per your issue it should not happen as you will be online and refreshing frequently to see domain listing status...

Just giving my experience..

Thanks

This issue has persisted for over a week and I had to ask the staff on the phone to complete the checkout for me.

Luckily, I found a solution today. I cleared all the cookies, and started from the auction page instead of the home page, continued to checkout page, then signed in to complete the purchase. It worked for the first time in days.

Cookies it is then...

It is nice to clear now and then all cookies to avoid these troubles at important time...

Thanks

I don't think it's the cookie issue. The support staff encountered the same problem when they tried to do it for me over the phone. They said there's some backend problem. I think delaying sign-in until you reach the checkout page is the solution.
