If you are buying the domains for just as an investment or future resale purpose , then prefer tlds like .COM .ORG .NET

But if you are planning to build a business or website around the domain , then you might choose a extension that is relevant to what you do. So you can build a value to your domain & website .

I'm not an domain expert / investor / reseller , based on my personal experience with the web development industry for the past 15 years I'm giving you this suggestion.

Looks that .VIP is popular only in China...

I have some very good .vip domain names, all with low renewal fees..it is now 3rd year I have them, and although I am not complaining (cause I got them early, so they are all for low, standard renewals, which is only 3,6 at west.xyz), in terms of sales, they performed, at least for me personally, lower then I expected.

It seems that chinese keywords sell well, while nice relevant english keywords gets mid - high xxx offers in most cases, atm, in my experience.

Seems like .com is what to chose if you want to sell something.

dot services has a far better chance of survival.

.SERVICES more than .VIP. The .VIP is popular in the Chinese market but not so much elsewhere. The .SERVICES is a well recognised keyword. It helps to understand the Chinese market if you are going to use .VIP.
